At the beginning of Stone Cold Steve Austin, after Dibiase left for WCW, there was this one episode of Superstars where Steve austin's going on about what a great deal he is and how big of a star he's going to become. I mean I didn't think much of it at the time, and seeing his ecw promos were even more prophetic, and so I getting a little kick about what an arrogant dick head this guy is being.
He was scheduled to wrestle Aldo Montoya. He tells Aldo that he's a rising superstar and doesn't have time to waste on a lowly jobber like him. But he tells him that he'll throw him a bone, and let him get a count out victory and he can tell his grand kids one day he beat Stone Cold Steve Austin.
I dont' know why but I've never forgotten this. It would have been great had Justin Credible, during his stay in WWe, would have referenced this and used it as part of his hardcore legend killer shtick.
Any of you guys remember some old WWf moments that no one ever seems to talk about that seems to interesting given what's happened since then?

Way back when... there was no Raw... no Smack Down... no pay per view... only WWF Superstars tv show. This was always big name talent taking on jobbers. You never got to see the champions ( world heavyweight, tag team, womens, or intercontinental) wrestle on TV. It was a huge deal when Hulk Hogan actually did wrestle on Superstars. He wrestled a jobber named Rusty Brooks. This is the same show that set up WrestleMaina 2 by showing still shots of King Kong Bundy and Don Muraco "breaking" Hulk Hogan's ribs before it was shown on Saturday Night's Main Event. I think it was a week before or that Saturday morning. I was so mad... I got really upset that Hogan was hurt and wrote a get well card for him..... i was also around 8 years old then too...... lots of memories... and for some reason... I remember the obscure ones too.
