Dude, you were able to beat the single player in a DAY? Uh oh....that's certainly lowered the price I'm willing to pay. I don't pay full price for short games(unless I know it has online and will big enough to have a solid online community). So this is going into the "$30 at the most, $40 if I have the money" pile. Well, add on to the fact that I played on casual, didn't bother looking for everything or exploring every room, I'd add on another two hours of stuff to do. I did get it in my Xbox by 11 am, and I finished it at 10:30 pm, after a few breaks. So it isn't THAT short.

Depends on how fun the online is. You guys will have to tell me. Right now it is hovering at $40 now, instead of $30. Only got a limited budget for "day one titles" and I'm using that for Halo 3: ODST, Brutal Legend, Assassin's Creed 2, BioShock 2, and Modern Warfare 2.

Sweet. I just maxed my Buick Grand National in Forza 2 with a reptutation of five. I also got it up to 185 mph.

Welp, I'll give online a shot tomorrow, but I've already done all that I'm willing to do for Ghostbusters, so unless Live blows me away, I doubt I'll recommend the game for anything other than a nostalgic rental.

Wireless controllers make it a heck of a lot easier to scratch your nose while going 100 mph.

Yeah, I passed out around 1. So I am just now seeing it back up. Ridiculous it took all that time to do whatever they did. Seriously, we should be compensated for missing a day of service. That's what I pay them for. It's like when the cable screws up and you're out of service for x amount of time. But whatever, glad it's back up.

Looks like they changed your main profile page on xbox.com. Yeah. Looks more like the NXE dashboard... Oh and now you can add and remove your credit card with no hassle! FINALLY! ;D

Also, I've been reading some of the hooblah about Mass Effect 2 and I reaaaaaaaally want to go back and play the original again. That's what I've been doing for the past week, on Hardcore difficulty (which isn't very hardcore at all once you get some good weapons and armor). I've apparently done all the UNC assignments now (except for "Locate Signs of Battle", I need to find one more League of One Medallion) and all the other missions and assignments up until Virmire as well, and I'm now on level 50. I don't think I'll be able to reach level 60 (and the Extreme Power Gamer achievement) before the game ends, though. One thing that annoys me a bit about Mass Effect is that after a certain point you start getting so much stuff and money that you'll have 9,999,999 credits and 999 omni-gel by the time you reach Virmire. I hope they change this in ME2 in some way, maybe by not having ten guns, seven weapon upgrades and five armors in every box you open.

Yeah, If I had one complaint about Mass Effect it would be the inventory system. I've heard the PC version fixes this though.

While they shouldn't compensate us for yesterday, they should compensate us for today. A lot of glitches happened/are happening today.

I hope I had one, since I went to get the extra skin for Ghostbusters, but the code was invalid, and I checked it 5 times. That is one of the glitches. Other glitches include the recent SEGA games on Live Arcade being taken off for some reason(well all but 3, but those 3 can only be bought, not downloaded), and to make matters worse, many people can't download Magic: The Gathering, which came out today. A lot of people buy it and begin the download and then get a pop up screen that says it couldn't fully be downloaded, but can be downloaded at a later time.

This just in: Microsoft Bins Xbox Originalskotaku.com/5294582/microsoft-bins-xbox-originalsKind of Microsoft's fault. Just like the backwards compatibility emulations for Xbox titles, Microsoft didn't put much effort into it. Their fault no one really bought anything, cause they were the ones who gave it a slow release schedule. So unless Stranger's Wrath is the last release, we can't play one of the best Oddworld games, and Xbox titles, on the 360 PERIOD!

And here I bought the XBox version of Phantasy Star Online, Episodes I & II at GameStop for $3 with high hopes for nothing.
*shrug* I still have it for GCN. Maybe I can pawn it off for a buck or two.

Good call, MS. You at least put up "Grabbed by the Ghoulies" as an Original and made Barbie Horse Adventure backwards compatable, instead of those horrid games no one wants to play like X-Men Legends 1 and 2, MK Shaolin Monks, Gladius....

There is an update to Kotaku's story. Turns out that the section "Xbox Live Originals" is going to be dead, but the titles aren't dead themselves. They are the very first titles being placed on the Games on Demand service for the 360.
Makes sense to me. Why have two separate services for downloading full disc-based games when you can just have one?

I don't know what was up with my xbox live yesterday. I could be in a party, but couldn't be invited to a game. I log out completely, power back on, and I can play, but can't join the party. I will say that Ghostbusters MP is def fun.

I'm in the museum, back in the Mayan room for the second time (my objective is to find Ilyssa), but theres a giant chunk of stone in front of where the door is. I've tried blasting it with everything, but no go. How do I get out of here? Any help would be appreciated.
