Just bought GB yesterday and only played 10 minutes or so on Casual, and I don't care what the other people are saying, I'm loving it. Nostalgia, decent game play, great script, I'm loving it.
The only thing I don't like about it is the fact you can't customize the Rookie. It's trivial, I know.

Stupid Gamestop. I bought Rock Band 2 yesterday used, took it home, tried to play it 5 times at least and kept getting "unable to read disc." Now I gotta drive the half hour back there to complain. Urg!

Well, add on to the fact that I played on casual, didn't bother looking for everything or exploring every room, I'd add on another two hours of stuff to do. I did get it in my Xbox by 11 am, and I finished it at 10:30 pm, after a few breaks. So it isn't THAT short. MCMGM, maybe you can help me. I'm so stuck in Ghostbusters its not even funny. I'm in the museum, back in the Mayan room for the second time (my objective is to find Ilyssa), but theres a giant chunk of stone in front of where the door is. I've tried blasting it with everything, but no go. How do I get out of here? Any help would be appreciated. I haven't reached that point yet, but have you tried the slime tether?

The Sega games are back and it appears that the lingering issues from yesterday are gone.

Its almost like it goes through the rock and hits the door. And I cant find a decent walkthrough too help. I finally got fed up after about 20 minutes last night and popped Lego Star Wars back in

You just have to scan the wall, and there's this conversation with Egon about how the spirits changed the door into a wall via some interdimensional thing, but since you beat them all, it should go back to normal eventually.

I like the idea of having the PKE meter to use when there's no busting going on.

Maybe shoot it with a few blasts?

Okay, I did the part again, and you have to scan the wall, and then after the dialogue, you shoot it with slime.

OOOKKK I'm an idiot. Ya, the door that was blocked...there was a reason for that. I wasnt supposed to go through it. There was another turn to take that I totally missed, which got me through the level.

Ok, so I changed my plans a little bit. Instead of Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge, I'm going a different route.
I'll be getting:
- Play & Charge Kit($20) - Perfect Dark Zero($8) - Project Gotham Racing 3($8) - Kameo($10) - College Hoops 2K7($5)
That's $51 bucks baby! And I'm debating on whether or not I should get Condemned: Criminal Origins or Chromehounds this weekend as well. I want to save some money, so probably not. Just Microsoft's launch titles and, from what I heard, a REALLY good college basketball game.

Koda, I would recommend getting Energizer's Play and Charge cord. It's cheaper, and the plastic is more flexible in case you're a moron like me and step on it, you can align the pins again.

Maybe a stupid question but I thought Ghostbusters was only out for PS3 and PS2 now and wouldn't be available on the x box till later this year?
Or is that only in Europe?
Cause if its out now i'm buying a copy tomorrow, haven't been in any stores in the last week

The cord is cheaper, but from the looks of it, I'll have to buy a rechargeable battery pack separately, which makes it more expensive than the Microsoft one in the long run. Microsoft's Play & Charge kite is $20, yes, but it comes with the cable and recharge battery pack. This Energizer one is $13 for the cable, and the recharge packs are $12 by themselves, so going that route would cost me $25. Sorry, but even if it is more flexible, Microsoft's route is cheaper.

Ah, true. Didn't realise you didn't have the battery pack. If you need a replacement down the line, go with the Energizer.
