Hello,
I am certain everyone of us has seen movies that were so unbelievably, goshdarn AWFUL that they cannot be considered "so bad it's funny" but rather so "bad it's bad". Nevertheless, there was perhaps one little significant or insignificant detail in the movie that struck you as positive about that movie, a small ray of light in a dark vortex of suck. Let this thread be the place to post these little rays.
My movie is "The Sidehackers" aka "Five the Hard Way". I'll admit I have only watched this movie MST-fied, but that was enough to declare this movie as one of the worst of all time. Sidehacking is stupid, the acting atrocious and the ending so nihilistic that I fear if a depressed person watches it un-MST-fied he would slit his wrists afterwards (although I came to think that Rama or Brahma or whatever the heck he is called deserved his fate if he actually considers "punching the bad guy into his balls" is an adequate revenge for "raping and killing my girlfriend"). I am not even curious enough to find out what the "scene" is like that got the writers of MST3K so horrified that they changed their movie review procedure because I simply do not want to see this movie outside the MST3K surrounding.
However, the movie has one small positive note. And this is the song that plays during the "Brama walks through the countryside remembering his girlfriend" and at the end. That is simply a gorgeous and sweet song that deserved to be in a better revenge flick than this turdburger. I search this song now (hoping it is not an original movie song).
So, what are your thoughts?
