I know he quietly switched to Smackdown for Tough Enough last year, and will do it again in a couple months when tough enough 5 shows up, but I liked his work on Heat, and a couple people say he's "the best commentar Heat ever had", so why doesn't he just work on Velocity?
I miss the all JOey Babaganoosh references, and funny commentary.
Josh Matthews isn't so bad, the girls like him, and he's a smark deep down (he was on tough enough) so he knows a couple things about the moves and how to relate to your average joe, so he and Snow might be good together.
He's like the lone staple of Velocity, with rotating color commentary partners. I think with al snow on there, you could get a very interesting, and very refreshing commentary team.

I actually hated when he did that. I look forward to hearing the names of the various indy talent on heat, and he'd always ruin it by calling them babaganoosh. for example, cm punk-cm babaganoosh or danny doring- jerry babaganoosh etc.
As for where he's at right now? I think he's training down in OVW or on hiatus till one of the various new developmental places open up.

Actually, if you remember tough enough 1. Josh and snow were pretty tight. Snow definitely had a soft spot for the kid.

Since he has an announcer contract, Al works a few indy shows, he recently tagged with Shark Boy in Ohio (both of them are Ohio guys)

Josh did that Snow impersonation on TE1. On my listing, it said that Snow was supposed to be the commentator on Velocity. ..I was disappointed when I saw Romero. ...anyway hell yah put him in with Mathews!
Oh yeh. ...Stevie changed it to Al Stone on Stevie Night Heat a while ago.

I miss Al. He was gold on Heat. Gold, I tells ya. He's off helping with the training now, last I heard it was in OVW. Which is good because he's got skill up the wazoo and could help craft a whole new generation of wrestlers. And it's bad because he's not on my TV.

If he would just suck it up and head down to AAA for a while and just develop a decent curveball then they wouldn't be looking to trade him to the St. Louis Cardinals for cash and a player to be named later.
