Do you miss the old stages the WWE used for Raw and Smackdown pryor to the HD sets ? To me the HD sets are too generic. One consistancy the shows have is that Raw keeps a brightly lit audience, and Smackdown keeps a darkly lit audience.

Bring back the fist at least! Make it a part of the HD set.

Here I thought this was about them returning to the old school backgrounds that wrestlers would cut promos in front of.

Nothing will ever beat Austin's backdrops from the top rope.
Wait, what?

I loved the fist. I remember when I was 10 and I saw that and I was like "COOL!!!" A FIST!"

To me, the different sets just showed the difference between Raw & Smackdown. Using one set for all shows is less expensive, but it still feels like your watching the same brand so to speak. With the different stages they had for each brand, the brands had their own identity. Now the only thing setting them apart is the announcers, GMs, color of ring ropes, oh and the wrestlers (if they inforce the draft).
I personally like the entrance for ECW when it was first brought back, had that old school feel.

I think they could make the sets a tad more unique without much trouble.
Have a giant standing fist, stick it near the Smackdown entrance.

I like the HD sets because it adds to a wrestler's entrance. The whole thing changes for a wrestler and I think it's neat lookin.

Yeah, the set they have right now isn't bad, it's just not all that cool. They should go with something a little more unique.

One consistancy the shows have is that Raw keeps a brightly lit audience, and Smackdown keeps a darkly lit audience. Regarding the lighting, I guess a SD crowd is darkly lit so they can comfortably pipe in pops without a highly visible crowd sitting on their hands making it look ridiculous. Also bring back the SD fist

I remember when everyone hated the fist. Or are the support posts a joke?
