Finally got around to listening to this album, as I forgot it came out on the 9th. I gotta say...it's awesome, awesome stuff. Most of the songs are really short...but it flows incredibly well as an album. The production is amazing, and Mos is definitely on his game, though I've come to expect that from him. Seriously, this is easily one of the best hip-hop releases this year. It's really only topped by POS' Never Better. You'd be doing yourself a huge favour to check this out. It's greatness.

I'll be honest, I wasn't blown away but I've only given it a couple of listens.

I am SOOOO mad that I didn't get to see him live. That was my one beef about Sasquatch. They put Mos Def on at the same time as the band I mainly went there to see.

Is he better than Eminem? It's according what kind of rap you're looking for....Mos is more of a conscious rapper meaning speaking on politics, religion, and general issues that actually matter.... If you're looking for mainstream, then Mos isn't the artists you're looking for...

Really enjoyed it. I think it's his best effort since "Black on Both Sides". I like his more "experimental" stuff as well, but Mos is really on his game here.

Can't wait to check it out. I love "Black on Both Sides", so anything Mos puts out I have to listen to at least once.
