Guys lets not tread down that road. Yes, please. So we are no longer allowed to discuss science? I know that this conversation could very easily turn political, or religious, but so far it has done neither, and to be fair almost every post on this board has the potential to take a quick downward slid into forbidden areas. Anyway, the only intention of my post was to clear up some of the misconceptions people seem to have about cloning. For some reason many people imagine a clone as being somehow different then a human, or coming from some magical machine like in Star Trek. I really think if people would take the time to learn about the process the problems and the advantages that come with cloning many would change their views on the matter. So since I guess we are no longer able to discuss it, I advise everyone in the thread to do a little self research, and find out what cloning is really all about.

Science is all fine and dandy, its when people start talking along the lines of religious/political aspects of cloning that things could go downhill. Which wasn't the intention of my post, it was the scientific aspect of it, so far so good on those fronts.

The thing has been dead and gone for 100 years nature has probably already reshuffled the deck by now, making new ones and putting them back in the wild would probably do more harm then good.

They don't have to go back in the wild per se, they can be distributed to zoos, which is sadly the only place the Devils might end up surviving as well.
