I had a dream she debuted on Impact as Abyss' new doctor. But her debut was just her sitting with the announce team one night and them saying "Here's the new doctor of Abyss, Mickie James" and everyone in the audience booed. Not because they hated her but I feel they were frustrated with all the ex-WWE personalities popping up. Then I worked a cage match with Joe and was trying to get him to bust me open hardway on the bridge of my nose to put him over as vicious. I'm not joking about any of this. Lay off the pizza (and the "special" toppings) before bed.

I don't think Mickie's on her way out, I just don't think there's much for her to do. The WWE have used her a lot since she came in with three title reigns under her belt (techincally 4 but that one was a mistake). The focus is on other people now. She might get another feud or two but I highly doubt she'll be champ again. I see her being a tag team partner from now on. Maybe she'll leave to do other stuff. I read she wants to do some more acting but I doubt that, if she wants to wrestle more and be focused on she could easily go to TNA; they'd snap her up. I think her time in the spotlight is over, but her wrestling career in the WWE doesn't have to be. Maria isn't in the spotlight but she does fine.
Also, I know a lot of people want to think Michelle McCool is the WWE's ideal size woman but where is the proof in that? The WWE for the most part promotes athletic shaped women. People always go on and on about how WWE only pushes the skinny anorexic women but it's not true. Most of the women's divison are healthy shapes. The only woman I would say IS too skinny is Michelle McCool. The rest are slim because they are athletic. Hell, they're wrestling and training practically every day of course they're gonna be slim. The woman who has recieved the biggest push in recent memory, Beth Phoenix, looks nothing like Michelle McCool. Add in Mickie James, Natalya, Katie Lea, Jillian; a bunch of women who are not skinny. They are in very good shape but they are not skinny. Maryse and Melina are not overally skinny and they are the champions. They both have healthy bodies.
Conversations on body size are often completely stupid. This forum has people who always criticise the WWE for having slim women, but then there were threads dedicated to mocking Mickie and Candice for gaining weight, with some of the same people who criticise the diva's for being slim joining in! If it weren't so sad it would be funny.
The Cherry thing is a bit confusing. Cherry mentioned her weight being an issue just after she was released, and Stephanie mentioned asking a diva to watch their weight back in 2007. However, 2007 was the time Cherry started toning up. She wasn't fat, but she wasn't toned. She then got a small push before being released. Was Cherry released for being too big? I think you'd have to ask WWE personally. I personally think it was other reasons (she was in her mid 30's, not great in the ring during her time in WWE and didn't have much charisma. I know people think that can describe other women but hey, some people are just liked more than others backstage).

She mentioned how badly her knees were bothering her in a blog she did a few weeks back. Given her general stature...and I say this not at all in any way hurtfully, but it seems like if you're a shorter, stouter person, your knees take a lot worse of a beating that a taller person's would over the same period of time. Shock has less distance to disperse and travel, ect.
That being said, if her knees are that bad, I'd rather they do use her sparingly, at least keeping her on the payroll and keeping her around, while letting her recover and rest at the same time.
I think they'd be foolish to release one of the steadiest hands they have in the division right now, personally.

No way do I think it's over for her after nearly 4 years in the E. I'm sure she's frsutrated though, and wouldn't blame her if she left, though I'd miss the hell out of her. Anyone know how much time is left on her contract?

She'd be able to put on better matches in TNA anyways.

So basically, Mickie James is over, because the Raw opening has been modified, and she didn't go on a European tour, because the WWE decided that a six diva tag team match wasn't worth the airfare. Yeah, forgive me, but I am not convinced that the WWE is going to drop their top diva with no warning.

What if Mickie is the one getting released? Doubt it, somehow. She's the #1 face on RAW, and neither Kelly nor the Bellas have her experience. She's needed to make Maryse a huge star. Quite. It's NEWZ - she disappeared after one of the last drafts, only to reappear a couple of weeks later.

Mickie has run her cause- i think she is slowly becoming less relevent to anyone who isnt obsessed with her but is a fan of wrestling- I really do hope she has a back up plan because outside of WWE, will a non wrestling fan know who she is? Will any of the divas get recognized outside of wrestling? Maybe candice, because of the godaddy commercials. I'd like to point out that there are a bunch of people on the male roster who most people wouldn't recognize either. It's not like wrestlers are A-list celebrities Of course Mickie is becoming less relevant, she's never doing anything of relevance, and she's not the only one, If Mickie's run her course, then so have Candice, Maria, Melina and Jillian. Lack of push & TV time = being not relevant.

They didn't put Mickie in the European tour just to spite Steveweiser, you know.

She might not be in the spotlight at the moment, but I don't see any reason why she'd be released any time soon. While some of her fans take it overboard and try to make it sound like she gets massive pops, it is true that the crowd likes her well enough.
I'd be surprised if she wasn't used regularly again at some point in the future.

::throws a multitude of sharp items:: I hope they aren't encouraging her to wind her career down yet, she's great in the ring and has real charisma. Yes, I know my opinion isn't impartial...and to that I say: so what?
