the next year? Raw has Cena, Batista, Big Show, Randy Orton Main Eventing and then future Main Eventers in MVP, The Miz, Matt Hardy ect. With HBK retiring soon, will HHH replace him as a special attraction?

How many world titles does he have to go before he breaks flairs record? In all seriousness proably in the next two to three years yes. Now? No

HHH will be in the main events for at least a year or two. He'll probably main event another few Wrestlemanias before he truly is at that stage in his career.

Ah, I remember when I used to think Triple H would one day go away...
Anywho, Batista is leaving in a year so Trips will probably stick around at least two more.

I don't know, it's difficult to say.
With him being revealed as a McMahon, it could either open up new storyline possibilities leading him to continually be featured (guys complaining that he gets preferential treatment would make for a good storyline for example) or it could lead to it being a good excuse to keep him off television for fairly long periods because it can be explained that he has to have a hand in running the company.
It's strange that JR, while obviously happy with Smackdown's lot during the draft, has defended the WWE's decision to make Raw the 'stronger show'. I look at Smackdown and see potential right through the roster. I look at Raw and it seems so crowded with HHH, HBK, Batista and Cena up top. MVP, Kofi and Kennedy will be looking to break through, and so will Miz, Matt, Cody and Ted on the other side, but it's not going to be easy with all the 'established' stars alredy there.

He won't ever become a special attraction, but he'll keep on being used as one until he's well into his 50's.

I could see him maybe retiring in a few years but he will still be on TV in some capacity and its highly doubtful that he won't come back and have another couple reigns in the future.

Look in his mind he's up there with Flair, Hogan, Austin and the rest of the icons of the industry. And you're right he's not going anywhere in the next six or seven years.

Barring injury I'm guessing he'll stay in main events and continue working as he is for another 10 years.
Would really be nice to be wrong about that.

Nope. He'll be in a similar role. If he wants to cut down his schedule in the next few years, he might become.

That's sad. He needs 4 to beat Flairs WWE recognized number, and 9 to beat what is generally considered his actual total.

Not for a couple years. He's still only 39. With Batista retiring and HBK saying that WM26 will be his last they will need him in a veteran role.

I hope so. I don't mind if he gets put in the HBK position of having maybe 1 or 2 title shots a year and losing, he has got to the position where he needs no more titles and his presence alone is enough.

wasn't HHH a special attraction in late 05 after the feud with Big Dave and in parts of 06 with DX..but other than that he will always be in the title picture IMO

What's this about Batista retiring? Why is everyone so sure about that?

I hope so, I'm bored with him. Although if Batista and HBK both retire they made need him to main event still.

My antichrist, Triple H, is gonna make sure he's a regular guy until he retires not just because he's a McMahon but because he has a deep passion for the business.
