Rewatching his promo with legacy on AM Raw atm and MVP sounds like a complete natural there. Few, if any mistakes, great delivery, confident sounding, for his first big proo, he was amazing. Outclassed Rhodes.

Yep, as everyone else has already said, he can totally main event. He's terrific. More than almost any other wrestler, I find myself connecting with him no matter what he's doing... his enthusiasm is infectious, and he looks great in the ring, too.
Here's hoping WWE brings him up to that level soon!

No matter what he's doing, he always seems very into it and excited to be partaking in it. He never just ho-hums through an interview.

I definitely think so. He's pretty over now as we've seen. Its only a matter of time before he shows people that its his time to shine. I think he's 100% serious with this turn and he'll definitely do the best he can.

MVP needs the Drive By Kick as his finisher, the Playmaker just won't cut it. The drive-by kick is just a fricking big boot. He's in desperate need of a real finisher. It's a big boot where his opponent is trapped and can't fall to mat.

I like MVP, but he still looks too stiff in the ring, like it isn't quite natural. While he did have a great promo, so did Shelton Benjamin. Let's see if he is still over 6 months from now.

yes, he has much more of a real star aura than orton, batista, even cena, or any other manufactured "star" of recent years

I expect him to be main event star at the end of the year or the beginning of next year. He just needs a high profile feud to get to the next level.

guys, lets not get carried away. granted he got huge pops when he came out for his promo. however, when it was time for his match, he came out to a conway pop. lets not rush him into the main events right now. do a slow build like they did with the Rock. no reactions on the entrance hurts a face's credibility.
on the opposite end of the spectrum is punk, who got little to no reaction for his promo on SD,(cept the"i can cash in my briefcase TONIGHT" parts) and still gets pops on his entrance..

Live wrestling crowds are too lazy to cheer for people twice in one night. That's why guys who tape matches for ECW end up getting no sold later on in the night. I wouldn't put much stock into it.

Well one of his earliest, most memorable feuds was with Kane, so it's already got a history of being booked as a semi-main eventer/upper midcarder. Being on RAW gives him that extra momentum to jump higher and run with the big dogs.
His VIP lounge will be the new Highlight Reel for RAW now that Y2J's on SD. He's locked into the top tier face role on RAW as long as Cena's away chasing Big Show, and I expect him and Batista to be doing a few tag-team main events against Legacy in the coming weeks.

If Masahiro Chono can make it a finisher, then anyone can. Since he's been using more of a Japanese style in his matches, let him take a finisher from Japan like a double arm ddt or something. there has to be one safe move he can use from them. That would make him more unique. I can see MVP in the main event like in about a year. Right now, he needs to get move over as a face and perhaps "earn" his "bonuses" instead of them being handed to him like when he was a heel. I think the U.S title can boost his face status and make him a great US champ before you can make him the wwe champ.

Or the WWE is getting predictable, same difference.
