I think he's a great example of someone that demonstrates fans do not know what they want.
"We want a guy with a gimmick for a change" "Here you go." "Waaaaaaah, too gimmicky"
I do not for the life of me understand the blind hatred. He's pretty good, he's got a decent gimmick, and they didn't shove him down our throats. What the hell are we expecting from young guys these days? They aren't going to all be Lesnars.

The point is most of us don't know if he sucks because he's yet another guy thrown on tv for a handful of matches then forgotten about.

True, I can give you that much, but people have even claimed his gimmick means he'd never be good. That's just taking things to the absurd.

Still, I guess they didn't have a lot of choice. Zero mic time and the like aren't helping.

He did get the mic once or twice, didn't really say much of substance and of course they took that time away once he stopped wrestling jobbers. Which makes zero sense.

Just because people want more then just a bland wrestler, doesn't mean they want a bad gimmick. And if his gimmick wasn't that bad, he would still be on television winning matches are becoming more established.

He should reveal himself to be the son of Peter Gabriel, thus making him second-generation which seems to be all the rage these days.
Plus his theme song would be changed to Sledgehammer.
