...but to me, the content hasn't changed all that much.
Last night we saw Big Show bully John Cena and then we later saw Randy Orton shatter Shanes ankle.
Not really things that I felt were kid orientated. Sure we might have Divas who wrestle instead of fight in pudding, we might have a midget squashing the lowercard...but yano...we also have alot of brutal adult stuff going on.
The only thing I think thats really gone is the edgy sex type stuff.

I couldn't agree more. The "PG" thing tends to go to people's heads sometimes (not insulting anybody, just mentioning an observation).

Frankly, I thought alot of the "edgy" sexual stuff was pretty lame and usually a ripoff of things not related to wrestling. I do miss the shades of grey for faces/heels, though.

(not insulting anybody, just mentioning an observation). Well you insulted me! I'll sit back and await for a formal apology. Seriously though, if the WWE was aiming their programming specifically for children they would be out of business in a matter of hours because when the object of a program is watching two people beat each other up until one can't stand for several seconds, it's a tough sell to parents to kindergarteners. Hey kids! Wouldja like to see this excessively oily guy attempt to break this other's guy ankle?

Has anyone actually read the kid's magazine? Does it have a big head / little body Randy Orton breaking Shane McMahon's ankle with a gigantic donut but then the two of them hang out in the hospital playing X-Box 360?

And there's also a comic strip where Vince McMahon gets into his limo and as he closes the door, there's a burst of streams and confetti that come out of the limo.

Apology accepted. Everything seems to be in order. I'll just get this laminated and insert this into my Wrestlecrap forum filing cabinet under "posters you like that you won't send scat porn to, unless they specifically ask for it"

I didn't see the show last night but a worker from work said that his little girl thought Shane breaking his ankle was real and it kinda turned her off from watching wrestling. I don't know if it was real I was told that he heard a snap.

Layla and Eve had a dance off... There was like no cleavage. Just tight T-Shirts that Lex Luger wouldn't be proud of. So no doesn't count

Would you argue that people tend to be more comfortable with violence than sex in the States though? So the PG thing is really down to no more Playboy, no bra & panties stupidity and so on...the physical action, barring blood, is pretty much the same. You can't really get rid of physical violence in wrestling all that much after all.
And yeah, TNA are notably trying to be more adult. Which ends up as more teenager.

Well there is no more blood which removes a little bit from feuds. I agree. I think there are certain times where blood adds to the feel of a match. For instance, Edge and Undertaker's Hell in a Cell. That match could have used it. It was great. But it's such an intense feud that blood would fit. Same goes for Triple H and Orton at Mania. Sure, blood wouldn't have saved that dud but it would have added fuel to the fire. I'm glad they cut back on blading because someone bleeding should mean something. I mean, for a while, it seemed that HBK, Flair and Triple H were blading for every match that they were in. But, they should still implement some blood.
