So far how far do you think he's doing?
My opinion, is that he seems to be trapped in the midcard with no sign of any real future progression.

Maybe "rapping" about Cena while in his car wasn't a smart career move. He might have as well told Triple H that he has a giant nose to his face.

Well he has no character, no (non-singing) mic time, no feud. He's lucky the crowd likes repeating "what's up" or WWE would have pulled the plug on him like everyone else they shove out there with no direction.

His job out tonight made me think he was a total failure.

He gets damn good crowd reactions, he's one of those rare guys big enough to fit Vince's larger-than-life mold for "superstars" while still being agile enough to pull off some very athletic spots, he's got a distinct style and multiple unique signature moves that make the crowd pop...
...and he's being used as an undercard jobber. Make of that what you will.

From live reports, he always gets a good reaction.

Yeah, he gets good reaction 'cos he's walking through a crowd with a mic. Conway could've got pops doing that.
As soon as he's in the ring the pop dies, and no wonder. He's garbage. Decent enough in the ring, I suppose, but why are we supposed to care about some smiling dork shouting "what's up" for the zillionth time. Get squashed and get gone, loser.

Damn, he run over your dog or something? Why so serious? He actually got a "R-truth" chant while wrestling which I doubt something Conway could do. I get you don't like the guy, but the crowd seems to like him.

I think his entrance has run its course. He never really did anything for me, even when he was on Battledome. The highlight of his career since main eventing Super Brawl Saturday against one of the biggest legendsstarsthatGAAAH was giving us Kung Fu Naki, and that's a pretty dubious honor in and of itself.

I like R-Truth, but it does appear as if they have no idea what to do with the guy. I thought in his first couple of months he might've won the US Title, but alas, t'wasnt to be.

So far how far do you think he's doing? My opinion, is that he seems to be trapped in the midcard with no sign of any real future progression. That's pretty much it. The WWE only likes there black characters one dimensional, and TNA dropped the ball putting him in 3LK and making him some kind of comedy act after his first serious run with the NWA belt. The fact he still remained way over with the crowd despite having to carry Road Dogg and Konnan everynight should tell you something about the guy. If he was in the original ECW Heyman would have made him a star, but he doesn't have the benefit of anyone who doesn't see his character as simply a rapping sideshow act.
