no thanks
about the random good match that sometimes happened, they can just do this match on raw/smackdown it's not like the fans bought the ppv to see that match

- Mordecai vs Scotty 2 Hotty
- Chavo vs Jacqueline
- Carlito vs Big Show
- Mizark vs Kurt Angle
- Khali vs Undertaker
- Steven Richards vs Tomko
With that I counter with - Orton vs Foley Backlash 2004
- Edge vs Randy Orton Vengeance 2004
- Mike Awesom vs Masato Tanaka ONS 2005
- Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle Vengeance 2005
- Kurt Angle vs Undertaker NWO 2006
- Londrick vs MNM Judgment Day 2006
- John Cena vs Edge Unforgiven 2006
- Londrick vs Blue Bloods vs MNM vs Hardys Armageddon 2006
Noticed I have some tag matches on my list. Yes tag matches on PPVs what happened to them? To solve the ECW thing. They shouldn't have a single PPV. The only matches that ECW gets on PPVs. Should only be ECW title matches.

First off, for those stating that the WWE needs less ppv's, not more. The OP never said to add more ppv's. He just asked if single-branded ppv's would work. If they were to bring them back, they wouldn't add more ppv's. They would just make Backlash, Judgment Day, etc. brand-exclusive ppv's again.
As for the topic itself, I say yes. As long as they're a little cheaper (like In Your House ppv's used to be), then they'll be perfect.
Smackdown could pull of great ppv's, while Raw's won't be exciting, but will most likely get buys. And ECW, as the OP stated, can have a match on both brand-exclusive ppv's.

yes, If they use the extra time between each brands PPV to actually have a build up for the match ups. Remember build ups, they were cool.
