What about Saliva for Batista and ECW, Endeverafter for Jeff Hardy, Airbourne for Ken Kennedy, Brand New Sin for Big Show, Killswitch Engage for CM Punk, POD for Rey Mysterio, Zebrahead for Maria, Monster Magnet for Matt Hardy. Plenty of popular artists do WWE theme music. I don't think I've ever heard the song, but wouldn't Airbourne work better for Evan Bourne? Airbourne- band from Australia that tries (and fails) to channel ACDC. Not a song, but I can see where it could be confusing. Oh, and for the love of gravy change Kennedy Kennedy's theme and keep Airborne FAR away from future Madden games.

You actually do. The writer of "Happy Birthday" gets royalties from the government, since the song gets sung roughly 300 million times every year. Well, I don't know if that's a special case but generally if a musical act chooses to perform a song written by somebody else at a concert I'm almost certain they don't pay royalties. Unless, it's Happy Birthday I guess. Every time you play a gig, the venue has to pay a small amount to you for every song of your own that you play, but if someone else owns the rights (e.g. If Killswitch Engage play "This Fire Burns", the venue have to pay WWE) and these rates are often more than 30 times what they'd pay you. So actually, bands like Killswitch Engage/Motorhead/Alterbridge end up having to pay WWE every time they play their own songs, since the venue usually recoups the money they payed WWE from the band.

WWF No Mercy. Play as Undertaker. That's why you don't use outside music. So that when you are playing a classic wrestling game, instead of hearing "He's here...DONG!... I'M THE COWBOY" you hear the raw theme. Seriously?
