I'm just posting the first part, use the usual youtube links to find the rest.
Just thought I'd post it as a look at how the wrestling TV show was put together in the pre-MNW era

God I miss those days....
Weird to see Honky Tonk in the opening sequence. He'd been gone from the company for several months by this point; these days they edit out a former employee within days of them leaving or getting let go.

Heenan to Anvil: Does this guy ever clam up?
I miss those days too. Wrestling Challenge used to be aired very early on Saturday mornings where I live, if I recall correctly (around 6 AM, I think). I used to always get up early to watch it.

Good times, good times. Anyways, April 7th. Wow, directly after Wrestlemania 7. Very cool.

He is taking a Legdrop Of Doom so perhaps that's why he's still there. Also, during the opening credits, check out a masked Demolition and my favorite jobber ever Tom Stone. I haven't gotten to the matches yet and I'm already marking.

I always wondered why Challenge was considered the "B" show I watched it over Superstars all the time. I'd rather listen to Gorilla and Brain then Vince and Jesse I wish WWE 24/7 would start showing more episodes.

Observations: Is it just me or is it hilarious the way Anvil says "Now that's a good doggy!" when the camera zooms in on Winston. Did they try to keep from showing blood by going to the wide shots for Hogan. Is it just me or is Greg "The Hammer" Valentine definitely a porn star name? Great move by Heenan trying to tell Monsoon that Anvil was trying to take his job.

Challenge/Cavalcade came on right after Superstars in my area, so I got to watch both. I always preferred Superstars. Always seemed like a bigger deal, even though both shows were pretty much the same format.
I miss those days too. I loved when Gene Okerlund would do the updates and PPV lineups in between the matches.
