Well last year they only had three matches set up 3 days before the ppv (or was that judgement day) but anyway its looking pretty decent so far.

And I hope Benoit doesn't have to do the j-o-b to Buckwheat.

no chance of ordering this ppv. I don't think i've even seen a great american bash since dusty rhodes may or may have not wrestled someone in a cage a long ass time ago.

I suppose potential matches include
- Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio in a Loser Must Reveal Secret Match - MNM vs Heidenreich and Holly in a "Weren't we fighting these last month? Oh, different man with an 'H' in his name" match - Borrie vs Melina in a "She's on the poster, so she has to work a crap match" match - Mexicools vs Paul London and whoever else they haven't fired from the Cruiserweight division
Which would actually be a decent enough PPV.

not when you stop to think that Summerslam is going to be the same price.

I smell an Undertaker vs. Batista match at SummerSlam, which is good. Unfortunately, Batista will probably go over in an ultra-screwy finish rather than a clean one, which will hurt him.
As for the card, it looks slightly disappointing compared to what it could've been...
Batista vs. JBL Benoit vs. Christian Booker vs. Muhammad
So on and so on.....

They should just broadcast that poster of Torrie Wilson for 3 hours. Yes.

I'll say that Taker/Hassan will be no contest set up for the returning lesnar to get in the title hunt with Batista

This is an easy no-buy for me, unlike Vengence. Seriously, none of the matches will be particularly a major attraction on paper, except for a possibe Eddy/Rey match.

I agree EvilMasterBetty, this card is no where near as good looking as Vengeance was. There will be an Eddie/Rey match, methinks, hopefully Eddie will FINALLY win.

Eddie/ Rey should be a first blood match - It would make sense since a) Eddie keeps using weapons and b) since they're like 'blood' (or they were). Then Eddie will win, hopefully get into a triple threat (being pushed as a psycho monster heel who destroys everyone) with Hassan and Batista at SS, pin Hassan and become champ. Then Rey makes his return and buries Eddie alive at Survivor Series, becomes champ and feuds with someone like Booker T or preferably a small guy like Benoit or Christian who would be credible contenders with the big men out of the title picture. Hassan is way too new and green to be champ.
An idea for a match at GAB would be Regal vs Doug Basham for US title no.1 contendership since both are good workers and don't have a match at the moment. Turn Doug face, have him leave the cabinet and have Regal (who is a heel now after the ECW thing) be hired by JBL as a replacement on the same night and assigned to take Doug out (Doug should go over). A mexicool should also challenge Paul London for the CW title while the other two take on some random CW face tag team like Funaki and S2H.
