When Heidenreich and Animal win the titles: "Hey, John, what are these toothmarks all over the belts?" "I thought there was chocolate inside..."
Heh... 'Cos Heidy loves chocolate.

Homer: Well, why was it wrapped in foil? Mayor Quimby: It was never, ah, wrapped in foil!
...Great American Bash has got me *THAT* excited!

There's quite a difference between Hawk and... Heidenreich. Heidenreich sells atrociously, whereas Hawk just didn't bother selling at all.

I am a Roadies fan since I was a wee little boy back in 1985. Still have my size XS t shirt from Baltimore Arena. lol.
Id love to see Heidenreich and Animal get the straps. Might be stupid Im sure someone will chastize me, but as tribute to Hawk Id love to see them defend the straps one time and have Heidenreich wear Hawks facepaint as a tribute.
I mean when Johnny Unitas died, Ravens QB Chris Redman (who was NOT in Unitas' league) wore the trademark black hightops as tribute.
Heidenreich could do the same thing. It would be a cool one shot deal.

Oh man. Every time I think of the GAB I think of PN News rapping the theme to one of the 1991 show... the matches on that one were:
*Ric Flair vs Lex Luger for the WCW title in a cage match;
*Sting vs Nikita Koloff in a Russian Chain match;
*The Steiners & Missy Hyatt vs. Arn Anderson & Barry Windham & Paul E. Dangerously;
*Dustin Rhodes & The Young Pistols vs. The Freebirds & Badstreet in an Elimination match;
*Big Josh vs. Black Blood in a Lumberjack match;
*Bobby Eaton & P.N. News vs. Stunning Steve Austin & Terrence Taylor in a Scaffold match;
*The Yellow Dog vs. Johnny B. Badd in a 'bounty for the mask' match;
*Robert Gibson vs. Ricky Morton;
*Z-Man vs. The Diamond Studd (Scott Hall).

There is a better chance of Paul London winning the World Title than there is of me buying this PPV.

God dammit. I didn't read the guy's post that said "SPOILERS below", but a bunch of you spoiled it in your replies anyway. Thanks. I would've been really excited to see that happen without knowing about it.
Anyways, I'm gonna go watch this ppv at the bar like I always do, and I'm gonna be pullin' for JBL to beat Batista and get so much heat that the Earth will shake. I hope Hassan goes over Undertaker too, however unlikely it may seem that either of those things would happen. My only prayer is one major swerve or another. Oh, and even though he's JBL's chief of staff, I hope Benoit kicks the crap out of OJ, unless OJ is able to step up his game considerably and deliver a very good match against Benoit. In that instance, I wouldn't mind seeing OJ retain.

Let's look on the bright side.
This year's show should be better than last year's.

I smell an idea for a new gimmick for the team of Holly and Heidenreich. Call them "Double H" and have them both reveal a secret obsession with the work of Triple H. They both begin to grow their hair out like their idol and bury everyone in the tag team division along their way to holding the WWE Tag Titles 10 times. Since there's only one other team on Smackdown it wouldn't take that long and it'll be done with by October.

There'll be lots of other teams on Smackdown soon. It's just that they'll all consist of Hardcore Holly. Or Scotty 2 Hotty.
Wow. That'd be the ultimate jobber team. Scotty 2 Holly.

Wow, Melina vs. Torrie Wilson in a bra and panties match. The PPV has been sold, I'm so getting it now. Heh j/k. But, I agree with whoever said this card was much more improved than last year's. I really am hoping that Hassan puls it through though.

I know, I was just kiddin'. Seriously though, I'm kinda excited about it. I like watchin' JBL, I'm anxious to see another match with the Mexicools, and I have to admit I am a wee bit curious about what the "family secret" is going to be and whether or not it is revealed by Eddie Guerrero. It might turn out to be another things that leads to some controversy, as has been the trend lately. Of course, I won't be paying for it. ;D
