Wow, so someone new is being announced as released about every 20 minutes. Any wagers on who's next? I will venture a guess, and say that either Conway or Grenier are next to go.

WWE releases several Superstars July 5, 2005
WWE has decided not to proceed with any renegotiations with Bubba and D-Von Dudley. We wish both Bubba and D-Von the best in all future endeavors.
Also, World Wrestling Entertainment has come to agreements on the release of the following Superstars. WWE would like to wish them the best in their future endeavors.
* Kenzo Suzuki * Matt Morgan * Charlie Haas * Jackie Gayda * Marty Jannetty * Dawn Marie * Mark Jindrak * Maven * Shannon Moore * James Yun (Akio) * David Heath (Gangrel) * Billy Kidman * Spike Dudley * Kevin Fertig
There's the whole list in case someone didn't know...or something. Anyways, The Dudley Boyz where just coming back with the whole ECW thing and they haven't been on tv for awhile. I would have loved to see them have another run in WWE, putting people through tables and causing mayhem. Whatever.

Death Knell: If you were involved in the "Blockbuster" trade, you're out the door. Those who should watch their backs:
Tajiri Regal Dupree Basham Bros. Dean (maybe not after this week's SD)
Who am I missing?

Guys, let's not get out of hand here. The WWE is still light years ahead of anyone else. It's gonna take TNA a whole lot more than signing a Rhyno or a Charlie Haas to compete head-to-head with the WWE. This helps out the indy scene for sure, but the WWE has nothing to fear right now because I don't think any of these guys will make Vince think twice about releasing them. w/e TNA has the talent to put WWE out of business atm...its just too bad VMac is busy lobbying against TNA getting a TV deal cause he knows if they do hes gonna lose alot of money as many fans would jump ship if they even knew there was a competitor (which most fans dont). WWE is extremely stale and has been since the turn of the century (thx trips) and deadman i dont think regal ever has to worry about getting released from WWE, vince likes regal, he most likely has a job for life

I wouldn't say "severe", but if they can get together a decent "creative" together, they might be able to put a product together to compete in the near-future.

Just a helpful suggestion to any mods.... it may be helpful to change the title of this thread back to the original name of "WWE Releases". With its current name, it makes it sound like this thread is just a place to gripe, when it's actually the place to get the breaking news on these releases.
