Who do you think, that the wwe has dropped the ball with, can still be pushed into something interesting with the right push?
And who's so stale that they're pretty much stuck jobber for life?
I was thinking about this after reading the Velocity thread. Someone said something about Nunzio and Scotty too Hotty being jobbers.
I think it's still not too late for Nunzio, I just don't see him as jobber status yet. Where as Scotty, well if Frankie Kazarian (who just got there) is making fun of Scotty already ("he still wrestles here? it's been like 8 years") then you know there's a problem.

Val Venis is becomming Brooklyn Brawler V.2
Nunzio could be used if the WWE would get behind the cruiserweight division. Just put Tajiri on Smackdown and have a nice Nunzio vs. Super Crazy vs. Tajiri triple threat match.

I will hold out hope for Val since I will admit to being a fan of his. He is a solid worker and could be good in the mid-card helping to set-up feuds for the IC title. I wouldnt mind seeing him get a last run with the belt.

Yeah, Kazarian totally zinged Scotty last night. It was funny as hell too! Even though Kazarian has only been on Velocity up until now, he's 2-0 and he's gotten some mic time. I think he'll be pushed into the SmackDOwn roster fairly soon.

With a better gimmick, Wright would be fine. Now Mark Henry on the other hand...Jesus Christ, that's impossible.

I'm afraid that the guy who played Hassan is screwed. I want to see him come back, even if its boring. He doesn't deserve what happened to him.
Maybe he'll show at Summerslam and bring his ski-masked guys and kick the shit out Undertaker. Or I'm just gonna hope.

Well, Mark Henry's plus-points are thusly: - He's big - He's strong Mark Henry's down-side is thus: - Can't wrestle - Looks crap in a singlet - Fat - Slow So, give him shorts or street clothes. Have him gorilla-press the Big Show and demand a match at Summerslam, saying "Once I beat your lazy ass, I'm coming for you, Cena!". Have him massacre Big Show at Summerslam. Book him as unstoppable. Have him beat two men in handicap matches for fun (preferably some go-nowhere losers). Have him seen as Cena's biggest threat and seen as impossible to slam, even by Big Show. Then, of course, have him FU-ed by Cena.

Well he said he'd never appear on Smackdown last night so maybe he'll stay off Smackdown till Summerslam, beat the bejesus out of Taker and then come back when Smackdown moves from UPN.

Look, Austin went from the Ringmaster to the biggest star in wrestling. Batista went from the Deacon to world champ. I think almost anyone can get over with the right time and gimmick. The problem is, coming up with the right gimmick is damn near impossible.
A guy like Mark Henry? Uh, I'm shirt out of ideas.

Interesting point here, actually: both Batista and Austin were saddled with lame gimmicks, changed them to more or less their REAL personalities, and waddya know? World Champions both. You could say the same for Rock or Cena.
Of course, this doesn't always work- after all, Orton is more or less playing out his real-life personality and he's a reet obnoxious arse, while if Kidman, London or Benjamin are playing their real personalities, their dinner conversations must be a riot- but it seems to suggest that being yourself, more or less, is a far better idea in the long run than playing somebody you're not.

Nunzio would work best in a leadership role, which is why I liked the WWE's FBI so much. Give him a couple of goons to work with. And please, stop switching him between face and heel every three months.

Val needs a gimmick people can latch onto. Whenever I see him in the ring, I don't know if he's a porn star, Chief Morley or what-have-you. I know he works hard and all that...but he needs some type of character we can get behind besides <gasp> his wrestling ability.
Scotty's bit is long in the tooth. I'd like to see him become "normal" again, then challenge John Cena. It could work.
Nunzio...I like him for some reason.
Now, Orlando Jordan. There's no hope for him.

Scotty needs a gimmick change. He has had the same gimmick for the last 5 years. And after Grandmaster was fired there wasn't much left for him to do anyway.
And at this moment, any gimmick change is good for Scotty. He just needs something different.
Mark Henry is perfect for a bodyguard role. If he could change his finisher, to something more impressive than a bodyslam, he could get over. But he is in no way a credible mid-carder. Just get him to be Christian's bodyguard or perhaps someones lackey. Henry seems to be a loveable guy, so he could play a great underdog (the loveable idiot). He did it before with D-Lo.
Val Venis is a talented wrestler, but he had a crappy gimmick from the start. After that, he did have a nice run with Trish Stratus and a memorable match with Rikishi. So there could be hope for him. He just needs to get his face on tv again in matches that are longer than 2 minutes. But another problem is that he doesn't stand out in this day and age of Johnny Generics.
