So last night I took my life in my own hands and went to see Unearth at a tiny, crappy bar that can hold pretty much nobody and it was INSANE! It was 1 of 3 shows they had a cameraguy filming for a "future release" (prob edited into a music video or something). I hurt my neck headbanging to the first band (an awesome local opener), my legs/abdomen got smashed against the stage (there was no barricade or security up front), crowd surfers and stage divers bashed against my head repeatedly, and I cut my hand open at some point during the set and have no idea how. DAMN, I had a blast!
Then I had to be at work @ 3:30AM for a bruuuutal 8.5 hour shift and felt like an old man and it got me thinking that these kinds of shows may be heading towards making my "Mutraugh List" (How I Met Your Mother reference, FTW!) but I don't think I'll ever be able to give it up.
So on that note, post things that you feel as though you may be getting too old for but are in no hurry to move on from.

Drinking. When I was growing up, I used to get completely devestated and shoot right out of bed fresh as a daisy. Now, it takes a minute. Stuff hurts. It's almost to where special occasions come with a sense of foreboding.

Just about any physical activity. My body cant handle bowling or basketball for hours on end like it used to. Im sore for a few days afterwards.
Also rollercoasters. I used to be able to go to Cedar Point or Kings Island and ride all day without feeling it at all. Not so much anymore.
But unless my body breaks down for some reason, I aint gonna stop doing any of it.

Hah, well, if you're all falling part this much in your twenties, you're going to have a hell of a time over the next sixty years or so!
Not that I'm one to talk. Can't play as much soccer as I used to without being a mess in the morning.

Pretty much most of the stuff my contemporaries do for entertainment.
When most people around my age are out clubbing, in loud pubs etc, I'd much, MUCH rather have a meal with friends, or go somewhere quiet and chat and enjoy myself that way.

Paying exorbitant ticket prices, asking off of work and driving hours from home for wrestling events with no guarantee of satisfaction.
It's getting rough to handle in my "old age."
