So I'm just about to beat Chrono Trigger DS, just have a couple of more sidequests to go, then on to raping Lavos. Or more accurately, barely surviving Lavos rape. Either way...I shall beat this game for the I dunno-th time. Probably 5th or 6th. First time beating the DS version though, the retranslation is super nice.
ANYWAY onto the topic at hand.
I'm trying to cut through my huge backlog and just general library of games, but I'm kinda indecisive on what to play next. I'm trying to take a break from RPGs since I've been pretty hardcore at them since sometime last year. Unfortunately for this situation, they comprise most of my library. So basically I wanna play through a couple of my shorter action games.
So...GET TO VOTIN'. Or something.

Okami ain't short. It is a long ass game.
I voted The Darkness. It is a REALLY fun FPS title, and The Darkness itself is just AWESOME! Plus I just love eating the hearts of dead enemies to increase the power of The Darkness.

Eh I know. I was just pretty much throwing all the actiony games within eyeshot of me right now onto the poll. I don't have a lot, and I was trying to exclude DS and PSP games simply because the last two games I've beaten were handhelds.
...yep.

Beyond Good and Evil was criminally underated from what I recall. Show it some love by beating it mercilessly.

Beyond Good and Evil was criminally underated from what I recall. Show it some love by beating it mercilessly. I may do that. I started it around when it came out, but that was back when I had the terrible habit of never finishing any game I start, so I kinda left it about halfway through. So if I do play it, I'll be doing it with actual determination to beat it this time around. Okami ain't short. It is a long ass game. I voted The Darkness. It is a REALLY fun FPS title, and The Darkness itself is just AWESOME! Plus I just love eating the hearts of dead enemies to increase the power of The Darkness. Same thing applies to The Darkness. I love the gameplay, it's damn fun...I just lacked the initiative to beat it. Such is no longer the case.

Bioshock is pretty much greatness, as is Beyond Good and Evil.

Bioshock is pretty much greatness, as is Beyond Good and Evil. Yeah, BG&E was excellent from what I remember of it. I wish I wouldn't have just stopped playing it out of the blue. Max Payne, because that's what I'm doing! Shit yeah, man. I have tons of fond memories from both of them, I just never got around to beating them myself. Stupid short attention span from my younger years.

If you've never played it, get a GameCube and a copy of Eternal Darkness, NOW!!! Honestly, I have a Gamecube. My Blockbuster even had Eternal Darkness for quite some time. I'm not sure why I never picked it up. I was always interested in playing it, but something else always seemed more important for whatever reason. I'll have to track it down someday.

Bioshock. Make sure you have no distractions and don't have the lights on. It'll draw you into the environment.
