I will add this, if Jericho did jump ship to TNA, i would actually watch TNA. As it stands right now, no, i waste enough hours of my week with wrestling.

This is one of the best internet swerves of them all, and dare I say it... better than the Matt Hardy swerve!
But if it is true that TNA is Jericho, than how many people are gonna say "I told you so!"?

If Jericho goes to TNA it would be career suicide. You don't say one thing to Vince McMahon and then do another. If TNA went out of business, he would have no place to go, and he'd have no leverage to get a better contract in the event that they stayed in business. This is TNA's biggest obstacle to overcome if they want to compete with WWE. They are gonna have to hope that one of the WWE fired wrestlers catch fire in TNA. TNA will always have their own stars, but not one big star in WWF/E has signed on to TNA yet (not counting Hall and Nash's 20 appearances combined). They are all afraid of being Black-balled by Vince McMahon if TNA goes out of business.

This must be the "In" thing to do for wrestlers today. They know if they put anything juicy on the internet whether its true or not it will get the IWC talking and thats just what Chris Jericho has done. He knows by saying this and putting up that graphic that everyone will be asking "Will Chris go to TNA???" until he eventually shows back up in WWE.
I will go ahead and say it, the best thing he could do for his wrestling character is join TNA...but this is a giant swerve.
I think this statement by TNA pretty much proves guys like Test, Haas,Kidman and the Dudleys will be joining the company soon.

I hope he doesnt go to TNA. I hope he takes the time off he needs and makes a huge comeback to the WWE. I dont want TNA to be like WCW, where fired WWF/E superstars go to. (even tho its starting to, with Rhyno and whoever else they sign from the layoffs this year)

I hope he doesn't go to TNA. I think he needs his time off and to go back to the WWE. And that said, this has all got to be a big work.

I'm still pretty sure this is all a work. The Matt Hardy thing made Hardy a STAR Now he's a few weeks away from a "conway pop"

I'm still pretty sure this is all a work. The Matt Hardy thing made Hardy a STAR Now he's a few weeks away from a "conway pop" I hope it doesn't get that bad. But yeah, I call work. We've already figured Jericho's on vaca, the first one for him in almost 6 years. Of course, we said the same thing about the Dudleys, and we didn't s them on WWE tv after getting destroyed by the Undertaker until ONS got up to speed. But if this is a work, I love it. It's something that the WWE lost, and only realized with the whole Matt Hardy situation: Fans love to be swerved and kept on their toes. They're returning to a time where things were uncertain, back during the WCW/WWF/ECW days, when you had to wonder who would appear on the shows at any given time. I think with stuff like this, Matt's situation, and the return of the Ross Report, the WWE's starting to recognize the power of the net once again to help get their product talked about.

If it's a work, I'm wondering how Jericho got permission to use the TNA logo (which I assume is trademarked) on his website. I ask because I know of several wrestling sites that were issued cease and desist orders by WWE for using the WWE logo on their website.

That was actually an issue of discussions on the TNA boards.

Chris Jericho said on wwe.com on July 28th that he signed a contract extension. Meltzer also said, I believe, that Jericho had signed a multi-year extension as well. This is just to f*** around with the IWC. He'll be back in a WWE ring. I'm hoping that he ends up on Smackdown and is able to let go. Of course, my dream would be to see Benoit, Guerrero and Jericho in a three-way feud over the World title, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I remember one time, around 1997 or so, I was in a wrestling chat room and some mark said that Shawn Michaels was going to join the nWo. I replied, "No, he's not, because his contract isn't up for another few years." The mark replied, "contracts are made to be broken." I was like, "uh, no, they're not--that's why they're contracts. You can't break 'em!" People are so stupid. Last month before his contract expired it is said he signed a short term deal to work through this monday. So says pwinsider, at least. www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=12617&p=1The TNA.gif graphic is no longer on Jericho's front page...

I matched up the the tour dates listed now on the chrisjericho.com mainpage with the TNA taping schedule. I'm was excited to see Jericho has all the taping days off then I saw this date.
Sunday, October 23 The Waterfront, Norwich, UK. Tix: GBP£8
Jericho is gonna be in the UK the same day as TNA's Bound for Glory PPV. Since TNA is calling Bound for Glory their Wrestlemania. That might be a sign that he's not going to TNA. Though it would be the only date he would have to cancel to work for TNA.

The TNA.gif graphic is no longer on Jericho's front page... And when you consider the low quality of the photoshopped picture, it could have been hacked.
