I'm sorry to hear that.

I know how you feel. I lost my kitty around Memorial Day last year after nearly 17 years together. Poor guy survived multiple moves around California and a cross-country flight to Kentucky and the little guy had been battling seizures for the last four years but just kept fighting back. He made me proud, he really did.
If you need someone to talk to, I can private message you a grief counseling phone number that was helpful for me when I lost my Terminator.
Sympathies and prayers go with you.

I just had to put my cat Sweetie to sleep a couple weeks ago. She was barely a couple years old but was a stray who had feline leukemia. She had kittens last winter who seem to be fine, but my concern is now with my other cats who have been exposed to this disease for months now, which is highly contagious. I'm so scared as one of them is my special baby, Pumpkin, who if she was ill, I would just be devastated. Gah.
Anyways, I'm sorry for your loss. Cats are real special to me and it hurts to lose them. . .

I'm very sorry for your loss. I have 2 cats, 1 has been in minor RTAs about 3 times, but never had any bad injuries. The other's very old and had a similar experience to what you described on 1 occasion but managed to pull through. i can't imagine how horrible the loss of 1 of them would be, so I truly sympathise with your loss.

Losing a cat is a terrible, terrible thing - I've known people who swear off cats after one or more passing away (my aunt and my old boss are two examples). Our (now not so) little kitten, Manny, is a little bastard, with diamond claws and teeth, but I get choked up just thinking about him as an old cat.

Sorry to hear that, it's tough losing one especially that's been around for so long.

Sorry to hear about your loss. My cat is 17 this year. My mom got him as a kitten when she worked at the vet's office here in town back in '92. Someone brought a whole box of kittens, and she picked out the only solid black one, and brought it to my grandpa. My grandpa, being the racist he was, named the solid black cat Rasta. Grandpa died in '96, and Rasta is still here, in the same house he's been in for the last 17 years. He just might be the luckiest cat ever; he's been treated like a member of the family for so long, I believe he thinks he's a human like the rest of us.
I mean, what kind of cat begs you to give him a bath...in the bathtub?
Anyway, sorry about your loss. I know the day I lose Rasta will be a tough one, as he's been around for more than half of my life at this point. I take solace in knowing that he has been taken care of and is more loved than any animal I've ever seen.

Sorry about your car there Mr. Meat. You'd better name your next cat Sonic or Tails.
