How can anyone criticize Cena's ringwork when Jericho has been dishing out the same crappy offense for years and years? Not one of Jericho's stupid kicks came close to connecting, and just like every other Jericho match, he did the same exact spots in the same exact order. The only good thing about the match was the crowd, and I have no idea how they got into such a horrible match. I'd be happy if Jericho never came back, or if he does, maybe he'll learn how to wrestle while he's gone.
I found the rest of the show pretty good, though. I wish Eddie had won the ladder match and Hardy/Edge had more to it, but overall I wasn't disappointed.

I was not impressed with the PPV. Eddie/Rey was the best match of the night. The rest of it was mediocre at best. Hogan/HBK was OK, Batista/JBL was bad. Cena/Jericho was OK, Hardy/Edge was bad. Angle/Eugene was OK, Benoit/OJ was bad (even though I like that Benoit won). Overall, I give it a 5/10, or mediocre.

thumbs in the middle ppv for me. eddie/rey was sloppy but entertaining. i thought eddie legit hurt his knee when rey pulled him down. you could hear him dropping expletives left and right. Angle was over like grover and was the highlight for me. an intense angle is entertaining for me. hogan kicking out of SCM and hulking up made me want to barf. edge/hardy WTF? ? what a waste.

hogan kicking out of SCM and hulking up made me want to barf. Refer to my last post on this page for my thoughts on this rather disgusting line of thought of yours.

I enjoy it all in
My only real complaints where the winners of some of the matches, and the end to Matt/Edge
All in all, worth buying in my opinion
8 out of 10

Ok, enough of the b*lls*** now. For goodness sake, why the hell do people have to go on and on at how they hate Cena. Sure it's your god given right to do so if you wish but all I see is "He does about 4 moves". SO DOES BENOIT THESE DAYS! I think Benoit is great but everyone can see he is made to cut back on the amount of moves he can do due to the WWE safe style. And I know people will counter "He can do more than what he does" but so can Cena. However, his character doersn't call for that. And Jericho is sloppy himself. What the hell was he doing on the spinning heel kick. He hit him with his ass.
On another note, Hogan is pathetic. I hate the f*****g c**t. I want him to just go away and never come back on camera again. I was begging that they bring out Brock Lesnar to drop him on his head over the top rope on the stairs. I would laugh my ass off at that.
Edge sucks. The finish of his match with Matt sucked. Which means that Vince sucks cause he obviously doesn't have a clue about how to book anything decent anymore. WHO WANTED TO SEE A FINISH LIKE THAT? Please let Shane have a go in charge because he can't be any worse than this.
I paid £14.95 to watch SummerSlam. There have been 2 other events in England this year that required you to pay (Vengeance and Judgment Day) and I passed them up and now I wish I had used the money from this event to watch either of them.
Bottom line? Simple, Vince is gay and I want him to go into a old peoples home because he has obviously gone senile.
(STUPID THING. I NEVER SAID BULLPOOPY!)

I wanted Eddie to win, then on SmackDown give up custody of Dominic to Rey, saying he does not really want Dominic, only to finally beat Rey. Then the feud could have been over, everyone got what they wanted, and Eddie could have looked stronger for a feud with Batista or Benoit for a title.

I enjoyed the hogan/hbk match, and i realized during it that id doesn't matter if shawn lost because he was already over with the fans. Every raw he showed up at except the one at montreal he was getting more pop then hogan was. so there was no real problem with him losing as he was already over, and the handshake and everything got him more over then the win would have anyway. Now, if hogan keeps wrestling i will stop watching. That was as good a point to leave as you can get, take it and don't come back...
and i don't think the mat thing was a work, since it looked like mat was trying to grab the ring post but slipped, meaning he botched it and probably did hurt himself. All this will mean is that they'll have another match and it'll be a classic hardcore match or something.

HBK applying the sharpshooter in the man event was pointless f they had no intention of Hart doing a un in..although when i saw the ref get bumped i immediately thought..maybe bret is gonna take over as ref or something
i liked reys fantastic 4 outfit..subtle yet effective
one thing..the US belt on Benoit is like the IC belt on Jericho last year..its an anchor weighing em down to mid card hell

I would laugh my ass off at that. Agreement on Cena. Now as far as Hogan goes. If you like Triple H, you have no right in the world to bash Hogan. Hogan is still im tremendous shape for his age. On top of that, Hogan is THE MAN. He made wrestling popular in the 1980s. (Don't even start with the 'Well Vince was the guy booking.' BS. Without the right talent to book, Vince wouldn't be as successful as he is today. Hogan MADE McMahon a billionaire.) If your argument against Hogan is 'He only does three moves' then you're resorting to the same level of foolishness you deried Cena haters for. Hogan was trained by HIRO FRIGGIN MATSUDA. He CAN wrestle. Anyone who's seen him wrestle in Japan knows he can wrestle a lot better than he shows in the US, mainly because in the US, promoters wanted him to wrestle like a generic big guy who could do nothing but brawl. Hogan put professional wrestling on the map and opened it up to the mainstream. I for one grew up on Hogan's matches and I mark out anytime he's on. Those of you who want to hate on Hogan remember this: Without Hulk Hogan, most of you probably wouldn't know of the existence of most of your favorites or have the opportunity to watch them in action.

Agreed on Cena. What people happen to forget is that Austin, Rock, Foley relied on the same moveset every match. Cena might not be Bret Hart, or Ric Flair but he's got a good look to him, a decent finisher and for the most part, great mic skills.
Hogan made wrestling. Is he past his prime? Yes. but his coming back doesnt hurt anyone, and the crowds still love the guy. Everyone can sit here and pregnant dog about him not going away, but I for one love the nostaligia of seeing a guy who I loved watching as a kid. Last night's match with Michaels was better than anyone expected. Yes Michaels carried him, but Hogan held his end well for a guy in his mid 50's.

God, people who insist we all have to like a wrestler or tell us to stop bitching because they like them really stick in my craw
I don't like Cena, I hate his wrestling, his character, how he talks, how he acts, the fact that he's shoved down our throats as this unstoppable force when half the guys on the roster could probably snap him like a twig, the fact I have to suffer his rapping every time he comes out
But that's my opinion and I'm entitled to it, and those who like Cena, that's their opinion and they are also entitled to that. Whatever they see in Cena or whatever enjoyment they get from him, have fun with it

For instance, I like Orton
The guy is loathed around these parts and while it does annoy me to see him bashed, I accept it

For instance, I like Orton The guy is loathed around these parts and while it does annoy me to see him bashed, I accept it whoa, it's been a while since I've seen someone who admitted to liking one while despising the other. Usually people hate both. A year a go, people Hated Orton just as much last year. And his main criticism was that he was boring. (and some people refused to believe he had any talent either and crediting it to most of his opponents). Now he's either what ever, or people love him again. I'm a fan of Orton as well, and like you said, to each their own.
