The HBK/Hogan match was better then I thought it would be. Not a bad show, but it could have been better.

Cause there isn't already a thread on this.... That's summerslam itself, this is just to bitch/praise anything we saw without having to go through 40 pages of review

I was very disappointed with the United States Title match. I think they should have given Benoit more time, much more time. This may be stupid, but was the Hardy/Edge match ending a work? It was an awful way to end the feud if it was.

Benoit destroying OJ in less than a minute is cool.
Hogan going over is not, but anyone that expected otherwise was lying to themselves.

Benoit destroying OJ in less than a minute is cool. Hogan going over is not, but anyone that expected otherwise was lying to themselves. I can understand why though Once I saw the American flag come out and Ross was praising him as Americana. It was essentially the good and moral days of Hulk Hogan vs. The Degenerate era ushered in by HBK in the nations capital. All the crap Shawn's been spewing, and if we learned anything from Nwo, the good guy has to win eventually and shut up teh bad guy. And it's a sad way to end off teh career with those overtones. Besides Shawn will keep wrestling for a while, this might have been Hogan's swan song. A loss to Hogan won't hurt HBK.

Benoit vs. OJ was the greatest match ever. 20 seconds and its over. I loved it. I was flipping out.

Why? Rock defeated Hogan twice. Why can't Shawn? Because Hogan isn't a fulltime member of the roster like he was then. Him coming in is for event matches only, and he's going to win the damn event matches.

It's to a point where just being in a match against Hogan should be viewed as a push in itself. And HBK doesn't need the win. It's not like he's gonna win the world title again. It's all about entertaining the fans once you get to that phase in your career.

that would be booking not Cena. cmon lets get it straight The roadies decide who wins, and whether the ending is clean or not. If not, they'll decide the weapon or method, but it's usually the wrestlers themselves that decide how to string a simple sequence together. and your telling this to someone who wrestles himself?

Neither Hogan nor HBK needed the win. But shawn did deserve it more than Hogan did.

what's with that Divas washing vince's limo, and the Vince for president bumper sticker?
It was both pointless and confusing. Is there some joke I'm missing here?

That Vince is a man with lots and lots of insecurity issues that he makes up for with an overinflated ego. Hell, some of it is almost borderline antisocial behavior...
