Rock Bottom --> People's Elbow. It was so over that when people in Toronto were getting all nostalgic and booing Rock, as soon as he busted that out the entire audience jumped out of their seats and cheered.

Stunner is the most popular move ever off the basis everyone in the 90's did it to each other on a daily basis.

1. Stone Cold Stunner 2. Hulk Hogan Legdrop 3. Rock Bottom/People's Elbow 4. Jake Roberts' DDT 5. Undertaker's Tombstone
I'll also throw the Perfect Plex out there, since people knew that NO ONE other than Hulk would kick out. Great heel move.

Stunner, I'd say. If you wanna throw in WCW, The Diamond Cutter was mad over as DDP really hit it out of nowhere, moreso than any other move, at least imo. From taking a suplex to going for a suplex, to the infamous Giant chokeslam attempt... DDP would hit out of the blue and it pretty much alone made him look like a potential winner in any match. This, the stunner (when it involved the gut kick instead of just pulling the opponent down from the neck when they're standing) became THE definitive pop finisher of all time.

It's definately between the Leg Drop of Doom, the Stunner and The Peoples Elbow.
The Stunner was so quick and sudden that the pop it used to get probably sounded better where as the Peoples Elbow was more drawn out.
It also helps if you have an iconic sound byte from the commentator to go with your move be it JR Screaming your name 3 times or the King telling JR to shut up whilst he describes the most electrifying move in sports entertainment.

The RKO always gets a pop from fans no matter who he does it to.

Pedigree People's Elbow Stone Cold Stunner (edges out the RKO for 'pop' finish) Swanton Bomb Undertaker's Tombstone/Rest-in-peace pinning combo Tazzmission Sharpshooter Crippler Crossface Anklelock
Of the ones that really looked like a 'lights out' move, the Jackhammer and F5 spring to mind. I'm also partial to the Go To Sleep - that looks like it really hurts!

For one no one's mentioned as far as over in destructive capability, I can't be the only one who'd notice how much the fans would deflate when they saw a face get Clothesline'd from Hell. They knew even Cena had virtually no chance of a kickout.

Definitely the Stunner.
Macho Man's elbow drop deserves mention because it was over in a unique way with the audience. The way it was always accompanied by hundreds of flashbulbs going off in the crowd was very cool. Kind of like a fan participation finisher.

Definitely the stunner - even more so when it's sold well:
It's weird how Vince sells it better than most of the roster...
