Put yourself in Flair's shoes.
Sure, he got the ultimate sendoff
Too bad the sendoff doesn't pay the rent

I'd do whatever I can to keep food on the table, and pay the alleged $20 000 monthly alimony payments.
EDIT: I don't want to see Flair wrestle again, but it's his life to live

If I was in Flair's shoes, I would've saved my money and made sure I had enough to retire.

Well, since I wouldn't live his lifestyle at all, I'd probably have cash saved up, but yeah, option nr 1.

If I were in Flair's shoes, I'd probably look down and say to myself, "Wow, these are nice shoes. I bet they're Italian."

I would have already wrestled two or three matches in Japan already.
That and smack my son upside his head several dozen times.

He could come back to wrestling without tarnishing his legacy. He doesn't HAVE to set foot in a ring again to put food on the table, you know. Therefore, I voted option two, but only because it comes the closest to how I really feel about it. The man's legacy in the sport is important enough to warrant not tarnishing the sendoff he got...but he has other ways to pay the bills. Trainer for FCW? Backstage role? Advisor to Vince/HHH/Steph? Surely there are roles for the Nature Boy that don't involve him lacing up the boots. I'd even respect him coming back as a manager or mouthpiece for a younger star.

None of those roles amount to the cash he would get if he wrestled... And Flair doesn't just need to pay for some new braces. He is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in debt supposedly.

That, to me, is beside the point. So it takes him longer to pay it off...he STILL has options other than tarnishing the legacy and the sendoff he got at WM. Those roles WOULD pay good money, and I don't think the pay disparity between being a manager and an active wrestler is great enough to warrant him getting back into the ring at his age. My main gripe was the fact that the poll is set up so that it's either he wrestles and f***s up his send off...or starves to death, which is misleading and false. He has other options than those two.

I kinda recall a $500,000 a year job he once had with Vince doing promotional appearences. That's half for the alimony, which is tax deductable, mind you, and half to live an upper middle class lifestyle. I mean, if he couldn't get some leeway with Vince for the NWA HOF, well that was a phoney HOF for a dead promotion anyways. Silly old man.

Flair doesn't have to work onscreen.
They could easily bring him in on WWE's Raw Creative board and have him help mold the show, or send him over to Smackdown!'s Creative to make that show even more like the old school NWA style it's currently going on.
Plus, considering all the alimony Flair has to pay out, the man's refusal to change his style of living is his own damn thought. He doesn't have to "live the gimmick" this far, does he?
Lend your face and name to some car dealerships. Take advantage of being the native son of the South. But don't piss on your retirement, and don't piss on the indy fans.
Oh, wait. Too late for that one.
(sorry, I'm a little bitter at Flair ATM for what happened on Friday. I'll refrain from making more comments until I don't feel this way, so as to not come across as a self-important smark)

If I were in Flair's shoes, I'd be getting out of Flair's shoes and into bed while taking a young lady or two on another ride on Space Mountain.

Yeah, Flair could probably land a behind the scenes job at the 'E, but I think wrestling internationally will make him more money, and he probably needs serious money right now, so ..

Surely no one is really shocked by this though, right? Wrestlers are terribad at staying retired.
