Is it wrong that I was REALLY hoping this would be about David Flair? Nope, I was hoping David Flair would get hired too. Does he even wrestle anymore? I mean, I enjoyed him in late WCW with Crowbar and Daffney.

I welcome Flair's return in any position.
Personally, I don't think age matters in FAKE fighting.
In real life I think my grandfather can f*** me up.
Those Korea/Vietnam war vets? Bad asses.

I've read that a handful of times and dont know if thats pro or anti Flair Yea, it can go either way. I would prefer Flair not to wrestle, he looks horrible in the ring, the bad tan, the bad physique, the old man hair, and I think he had since 1991 to get a lot of money and retire. But, he's still good at it. He still has the skill to wrestle, I just don't want him to.

I really don't know what's left for Flair to do, at this point. That's not a knock against his passion, his charisma, or his skills - I just don't think a performer with that storied a career has much left to do, at least in the ring. I think he could be an invaluable manager or ringside presence, but he has nothing left to prove in the ring, and part of the suspense of a wrestling match is when the competitors have something to prove, something to gain.
Flair's seriously done it all. I look at other wrestlers who've "done it all" (and "all" is sometimes less than what Flair's done) and decide to fade away gracefully, and I don't challenge their passion for the business - I'm glad they had a good run, thankful for the shows they put on, and I'll always remember their chapters in this ongoing book. I feel much the same of Flair; I do appreciate everything he's done. But when "everything he's done" is so damned much, I wonder if sheer love of the business really is his only reason for sticking around.

If Flair really thinks he can still cut it at all, he's a seriously deluded man. However, I'd have no problem with him coming back in an off-screen position - I'd prefer any guy who the business has left behind have some kind of position with WWE, rather than resorting to making appearances at the opening of Mom 'n' Pop's Dime Store.

It's not like I want Flair to be WWE Champion or even regularly wrestling........but the people who think Flair should just vanish from TV altogether just because he "retired" (which....I mean, wasn't that the 3rd or 4th time he supposedly retired or was retired?) are being silly. Let the man manage or be a GM....he's still awesome on the mike. For that reason alone I approve of WWE resigning him.
