Meh show.
THe ladder match, and Punk's Cash in were the only good parts.

Decent show.
Good opener, Jericho and Rey put on another show, Umaga vs. Punk was decent, The cage match wasn't the usual Orton bore fest, I liked the submission match and the ladder match.
Cash in was a good way to end the show, a lot of questions and such.

I wouldn't mind seeing Punk doing a 2005 HBK heel turn. If only they can go to Montreal...

One of the shocking moments for me was the "oh my god" chant during (I think) the ECW title match.

I just did a side by side comparison of Yokozuna's 1st title reign and Hardy's 2nd. I started both at the moment they both won.
Yokozuna still holds the record. Just as the bell ran for Hardy/Punk, Hogan won the title from Yokozuna.
Yokozuna was the champion for 1 minute, 9 seconds. Jeff Hardy was the champion for 3 minutes, 10 second.

If you need anymore proof of the sorry ass state Raw's main event scene is in, you have your 10 minute WWE Championship cage match go on before the most slow, prodding match of the century. The 4 way was alright and kinda fun, but then the damn hogpen debacle remembered to show up. Raw kept this show from being OMG SO GOOD for me.
I just want to get that out of the way, because Smackdown and ECW saw this and made the show great again on their own. Jericho and Rey are so damn good together. They're having much different styled matches than their WCW ones, but they're every bit as good. Umaga/Punk have gotten the Hardy/Umaga chemistry where everything they do turns to gold. I knew Punk was cashing in as soon as he beat Umaga. I believe I even said on here right before the show that this was Punk's best shot at cashing it in. The ladder match delivered in full, just like Shawn and Jericho's last year. Then the cash in was epic. I even got suckered in after that first GTS. I started thinking Punk would snap and destroy Jeff with a chair or something.
I was thoroughly entertained last night. Granted it was thanks to 2 of the 3 brands while one did its damndest to stop it, but they pulled through big last night.

It wasn't supposed to be a ***1/2 star wrestling clinic, it was supposed to be a comedy segment. As is, it had everyone in the room where I saw it laughing loudly, just for the facial reactions. For that, I think it did it's job. Everyone knew it'd be a pointless segment to see Vickie get her comeuppance, which she did. And it also led to Edge telling her to get a divorce attorney. I think this is Edge's avenue towards a tweener-turn.

I enjoy comedy segments, but I didn't find it funny, entertaining, or anything like that. So for me it was definitely a debacle. I'm not arguing it didn't do it for every one else.

The whole focus of Raw and arguably the entire WWE for 2009 so far has been on Orton. He is now, and has been for a long time, the top heel in the company. ...which is why Edge has main evented the last three PPVs. Last I checked Edge was on Smackdown. Also, Edge didn't main event Wrestlemania. Last three would have included that. Edge isn't the top antagonist in the company either. Being the focal point of the show does not ALWAYS equate to going on last. Booker T and Buff Bagwell on WCW Raw ring a bell?

Well then I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here. There's nothing wrong with that. Different tastes is all.

In case it wasn't mentioned, the dark match was Mickie and Kelly beating Beth and Rosa.

I know the big story of the show is going to be Punk cashing in the title, but the best part of the night had to be Dreamer winning the ECW title....
I just saw video of it, and man his reaction almost had me with a tear in my eye....hopefully he gets a decent reign unlike his original ECW title run...

I also saw the video of the ECW title match. Holy crap, that was a good pop when Tommy won. I thought it would've been cooler if he would've hit Swagger with the Spicolli Driver, but it's still good.

Just watched the fatal 4-way match and I got to say, William Regal impressed me the most out of all the guys. Always knew he could work, but he really shined in that match.
