If the ladder match hype video doesn't get up pumped for Extreme Rules, I don't think anything will. I have a friend on here who teases me all the time about how much I love so many of WWE's video packages, but that one is as good an example as any as to why I do. If THAT can't get you pumped I wouldn't bother with the PPV.

This looks like another "safe" PPV actually. I do see some changes but nothing earth shattering based on what we've seen this week and the formula they usually follow. 1. There is no way Batista is walking out with the title tonight. It's all leading to Triple H's return and Batista turning heel. 2. I think Jeff Hardy will win the WHC tonight. 3. I think Dreamer will win the ECW title and then turn right around and get squashed by Kozlov for it at the next PPV or maybe even this Tuesday.

They really need to have that match headline the PPV. I can't see any logical way they don't. It has unarguably the better storyline, the better build, and they always have the better matches. Orton/Batista closing would just scream "we can't let the precious Raw take backseat again."

This is the best opportunity CM Punk will get to cash in on someone, if he isnt doing it tonight, I think he will announce his cash in.

Edge/Hardy should headline... but since they headlined the last PPV and the effort it takes to lower/raise the cage, I'm thinking Batista/Orton finishes... and much to my dismay I think Batista will win since Orton got the last laugh on Monday.

Definitely Edge/Hardy has to go on last as Batista/Orton is really underwhelming at this point.
I just can't see Tommy winning the ECW title.

Yeah I agree the ladder match should go last but, I believe Trips returns which mean the cage will end the show but, as started before Orton still walks out champion.

Trips returning and costing Batista the match, thereby turning Batista heel and having Trips vs. Batista then having Orton go onto MVP? Hoping against hope there.

why would Trips cost Batista? and why would that turn Batista heel?

why would Trips cost Batista? and why would that turn Batista heel? My theory from my early post. Triple H returns accidentally costing Batista the match by missing Orton with the hammer and hitting Batista leaving Orton to hit an RKO on Trips and either get the pin or escape to retain. This either sets up a Triple threat at The Bash or what I'd like Triple H/Batista #1 contenders match at The Bash & Orton vs. maybe MVP for the title at The Bash and then a Triple Threat at Night of Champions.

I'm so excited for tonight's show. I expect nothing earth shattering in the storyline department or title changes, but I expect some great in-ring action. Show-Cena is the only match I'm not looking forward to.
I'm watching Edge-Taker TLC match from last year's ONS/ER PPV and getting even more excited lol. Edge-Hardy should be awesome. I fully expect Hardy to do some crazy *** spot tonight

The Umaga/CM Punk strap match might be good too. I don't know who will win that one.

BTW, someone said it either here or in another thread earlier, this is Punk's best shot to cash in his MITB yet. If he doesn't tonight, I think he announces well ahead of time.

I'm actually shocked that with a PPV featuring Edge and Hardy in a ladder match..that it might not be the match of the night.
I'm so pumped for Jericho/Mysterio that it's ridiculous.
