The biggest disappointment ever to me was finding out who hit stone cold with the car. At least he did it for the Rock.

The biggest disappointment ever to me was finding out who hit stone cold with the car. At least he did it for the Rock. At the time, I really liked that. Hell, even when I play EWR scenarios from that time, I totally run with it. As for disappointments...I think a big one, in a more real way, was William Regal being busted for drugs I think last year. Just having read his book and all and how well he was doing, I was just like "Aw."

Bam Neely.
No, seriously, one of the biggest disappointments was when Cena was feuding with Kurt Angle, Kurt introduced his new manager. When Muhammad Hassan's music hit, the arena was instantly lit on fire, only to be let down when they found it that Daivari was his manager.

The finish of HBK vs Mankind (Mind Games 1996).
It totally ruined one of the greatest matches of all time IMO.

The finish of HBK vs Mankind (Mind Games 1996). It totally ruined one of the greatest matches of all time IMO. This is why WWE has put this match on every home video release.

Test in ECW. He was a favorite and they never pushed him enough. They'd let him win, but he could never beat Lashley when (to me) Test was better than Lashley to a much higher degree. He deserved the ECW title in my eyes.
Plus Test in TNA. He fought one match.

Yes it did as well IMO the best time in Mankinds career (and perhaps Mick Foleys_)mwas when he turned up in WWF in 1996. It was a pretty random title match. He wasn;t fuly established at that point in WF it was one hell of a match. The run in should have waited till after the match and it made no scense why they didn;t have a re match at some point on PPV.

Triple H finally turning face in 2006, then being extremely boring two weeks later.

Recently(2001 onwards): a. Chris Benoit. He was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid and finding out how f'd up he was (and the wrestling business in general) was a shock.
b. Eddy Guerrero's death.
c. Booker T losing to the HHH at WM XIX because that was some BS.
d. I hated it when Austin turned heel in 2001. I thought it was horrible writing at the time and it was the first sign that WWE was starting to make the same mistakes WCW did.
e. Jericho losing to HHH at WM XVIII. Yeah, I should have known better.
Old School
a. Austin getting fired by Vince, which is funny because now when I watch that scene I laugh hard. I didn't believe wrestling was completely real, but somehow that scene came off as legit and it pissed me of.
b. Goldberg losing the World Title and subsequently becoming a joke in the two years that followed.
c. Kurt Angle losing to HHH at Unforgiven
d. Chris Jericho losing to HHH at Fully Loaded
e. The Rock losing to HHH at Judgment Day

Lashley in general
or rather post ECW Lashley, the man was hot-shotted to the title picture (Didn't he have to relinquish the title after a draft?), the fans were behind his matches, but He up and leaves rather than deal with a pompous ass through proper channels.

Edge's return. All of it. He (in my opinion) went from the best he's ever been in his career to his worst.

Undertaker not returning as the Deadman at Royal Rumble 2003, anyone? I know the hype videos didn't really suggest it, but it would have been cool, damnit.
