I'm speaking from however you precieve wrestling. Nowadays having the internet and being older means that nothing is a suprise or disappointment. Mine was a good 6 years ago i think when i was a huge shamrock mark, i remember kurt angle was going on about how good his ankle lock was, and he was fighting an unnamed opponent in sacramento california, now the mark in me was praying it was him, but alas it wasnt . Looking back it was probably a ridiculous idea but hey.

My biggest disappointment is now realising I may not be the biggest Duncan Ferguson fan on this page. (The mighty blues keep popping up on wrestling forums, lol, aswell as featured heavily in EWR .) My biggest disappointment was the InVasion. It started bright with the inclusion of ECW to an extent, but then it fizzled out completely and I never understood Austin and Especially Angle.

Recently? Edge's return having NOTHING to do with him, you know, being set on fire.

Ultimate Warrior's brief runs in WWE after Wrestlemania 12 and in WCW. I was a pretty huge Warrior mark.

When The Brothers Of Destruction lost to The Two Man Power Trip at what I think was Judgment Day 2001. It was just the icing on the cake for me in termsof people who I like not winning. I was so dissapointed that I stopped watching WWE for about 5 years.

Wrestlemania 24.
LET THE HATE BEGIN!
Seriously though, I thought it was a letdown as it happened. The MiTB match was good enough, and the WWE title match was pretty good for short triple threat. However, I remember being pissed at HBK for taking unnecessary risks during his match with Flair, and Edge/Taker being too boring for a long time. Coach's commentary didn't help matters much either. Playboy mania sucked, and I was not a fan of Show/Mayweather at all.

Santonio Holmes catching the final touchdown in the Super Bowl... oh this is wrestling. Then, Bret Hart not coming out when HBK teased at it and they even played his music in 2005. Anytime Stone Cold's involved lately I tend to feel disappointed since he never does anything even close to being memorable.

The biggest disappointment ever to me was finding out who hit stone cold with the car.

The biggest disappointment for me was being a mark for WCW in 1998. Then when I was a bit more mature and realized it was scripte3d around 2000 time I tried to go back and watch Nitro and was shocked and disappointed in how far the product had fallen in such a short space of time.

Triple H retaining vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania 2000. I was a HUGE Rock mark back then and was absolutely ready for him to walk with the belt. When the ref counted three I was crushed. Looking back it was brilliant and put HHH over huge, but at the time I was pissed.

Cena coming out 30 in the Rumble two years ago really ticked me off.
Up until that point, my friends and I were all excited because you really didn't know who was going to win.
Then that music hit at number 30 and it was like...Spoiler, CENA WINS!

Maybe somebody can help me with this one, as the details and my memory are very sketchy.
A WWF title match at a PPV where one of the participants was to be replaced by STEVE BLACKMAN! It never happened, and the original participant showed up.

How bout Shawn Michaels being replaced at No Way Out '98 by SAVIO VEGA I was beyond pissed I paid for that PPV and a couple of us were sitting there eating a pizza when we found out. Because nothing says "Almost as Good as Shawn Freaking Micheals" than Savio Vega.

CM Punk not being able to defend his title in the Scramble match. I was looking forward to it and didn't like that swerve at all.

Recently:
* Edge coming back, and being with Vickie as if nothing ever happened... No hell, no awesomely psycho-Edge, no nothing...
* Vince comes back for 10 mins and gets punted by Orton. Cue a storyling involving the McMahons and thhe Most Boring Stable Ever, and voila...
* TJ Wilson, the Stampede Kid, wrestling like an X-Division guy... Nothing says "Harts' Dungeon" like a springboard elbow drop...
* The Factory of 2nd Gen Lookalikes. If that's The Future, I'd take Kazarian back...
* So far, Road to WrestleMania looks pretty meh to me... I hope the EC will change the scenario a lot, because as it is now, both Champions are playing second and third fiddle to other angles.
Old-school:
* Ultimate Warrior 1st and 2nd comebacks
* Ultimate Warrior losing to Sgt. Slaughter... No seriously... Gulf War and whatnot, but that was painful to watch, and too obvious to call from there.
* Randy Savage v Jake Roberts not being a longer feud
* Ric Flair's short stint in WWF. It was good, but it could have been 100x bigger and better.
* Lex Luger
