Mark (noun) - Wrestling fan that believes that everything the wrestlers do is real. Back in the days when wrestlers still kept kayfabe (the belief that everything they did was real. example: Ric Flair in kayfabe was a high roller, so he lived the lifestyle of a high roller to further his gimmick) the fans were called marks. Now that kayfabe is largely dead, a mark still has the same definition, except that most people know wrestling is fixed.
As for "marking" for someone or something, its means to be a fan of that person or thing, or just enjoying it a lot.
Forgive me if this is confusing, I'm running on a lack of sleep.

"Mark" is a term going back to wrestlings carny roots in that it is someone who believes what they are seeing is real. So, essentially, when someone is saying that they "mark" for someone it means they greatly enjoy their work and character and they can easily suspend disbelief whilst watching them.
Basically its another way of saying you're a fan of someone.
