Pretty self explanatory.
Who, from the moment they arrived, you just saw and went "I can see this guy being something special one day".
Here's the most obvious one for me: Kurt Angle and Brock Lesner.
Kurt - self explanatory for anyone who's seen him, and all his pre-wwf experience. Brock - Because of his look, known amateur background, and an eventual fued with Kurt.

I hardly believe that anyone seen World champion material in DVon's lackey. I've heard about him as Leviathan, the Demon of the Deep. Then they stuck him with Reverend D-Von. I thought he needed to break away and be a single. Then he had that awful match with Kane at Armageddon 2002 where he almost broke Kane's neck when he Nash'ed a powerbomb. I figured they'd drop him after that. Steve Austin is an easy choice for me, and I seen him since he started in World Class. He just had the look and wrestling ability to succeed. His desire to be a wrestler showed.

I know he hasn't gotten there yet...and knock on wood and all that junk *knock knock*...but I think, given a few years experience on the mic and fine tuning his movelist and abilities...Shelton Benjamin WILL be consistantly main-eventing and hopefully in the contendership for one of the two big straps. Not to sound like JR...but the guy is a natural. People can stand up and bitch about missed spot here, sloppy mic work there...look at what the WWE is pushing right now. Rob. F'ing. Conway. A guy that has such a lack of heat, he got silence re-named as the "Conway Pop" or something like that. Meanwhile, the last time I saw Shelton, he was tagging with the Big Show against the Masterpiece and Snitsky. Makes my brain wanna explode.
I guess I went off on a tangent...but yeah. Shelton Benjamin by a long shot.
...oh, and Brock. The guy was made for this stuff.

I hardly believe that anyone seen World champion material in DVon's lackey. i didn't and still don't. so far FOR ME his world title run is probably the most uneventful and boring title reign ever. with the possible exception of chris jericho's.

Cena - I saw that TV special he was in. He had it then Benoit & Guerrero - First saw them in WCW. You could tell they had something special Booker T - For some reason, I just thought he had it.

D-Lo Brown Guess I was wrong about that one. You weren't the only one. I'm still convinced his anti-push was a result of the Droz incident.

The Rock, mainly because of the way he was pushed. He was the rookie, Rocky Maivia, and he can only get better. And he won the Intercontinental Title pretty quickly.
