Watching Smackdown...looks like they are using film, instead of video. Not sure I am enjoying this.

There's no such thing as HD film.

There's no such thing as HD film. What I meant was..I'm watching the HD feed...looks like they are shooting on film stock, or are just using film like quality, vs the usual live video look.

Are your TVs standard definition? That might be why it looks bad.

Are your TVs standard definition? That might be why it looks bad. Our TV is High Def and it looked awful on both the HD and non-HD channel.

It looked to me that they shot at 24 FPS (frames per second) instead of the normal 30.

It looked to me that they shot at 24 FPS (frames per second) instead of the normal 30. This is exactly what I was thinking. It looks like they just cut out frames to make it run at a slower framerate, which is why it looks choppy. I thought the whole show looked like Morrison's slow-mo entrance effect.

It looks like MyNetwork was having some issues with the switchover. Hopefully they fix this problem ASAP.

It looked to me that they shot at 24 FPS (frames per second) instead of the normal 30. Exactly. That's what my Canon XLR looks like when I lower the FPS. It's not the fault of the digital transition, they were shooting it on a lower frame-rate.

I noticed this too but thought I was just going nuts. Glad to know I'm still sane (or as sane as I was before anyways).

I definitely noticed this, as well. The replays definitely looked weird, I didn't like the new look.
