Get rid of No Way Out and rename Armageddon Starrcade. well considering that this year No Way Out kicked the crap out of Wrestlemania, i'm going to say no. and Starrcade sounds too WCW-like. just name it "The Star"

January: Royal Rumble February: Bad Blood (No Way Out's stips with a reused name) March: WrestleMania April: Backlash May: King of the Ring June: Heatwave (Extreme Rules stips with a reused name) July: Night Of Champions August: Summerslam September: No Mercy (Breaking Point stips with a reused name) October: Halloween Havoc November: Survivor Series December: Starrcade
With that list, I would seriously consider watching each one.

January: Royal Rumble. Gimmick: the Royal Rumble match, of course.
February: No Way Out. Gimmick: the Elimination Chamber.
March: WrestleMania. Gimmick: It's WrestleMania.
April: Backlash. Gimmick: To blowoff feuds and to either set up the Draft or feature it's fallout, considering whether the draft is held before or after it.
May: Judgment Day. Gimmick: No gimmick. Let the fans get a breather from the gimmicks.
June: King Of The Ring. Gimmick: King Of The Ring tournament.
July: Night Of Champions. Gimmick: Title matches.
August: SummerSlam. Gimmick: It's SummerSlam. Though, I wouldn't mind having the Hell In The Cell here each year.
September: Unforgiven. Gimmick: The Championship Scrambles.
October: No Mercy. Gimmick: I guess this could be the Submission Matches PPV.
November: Survivor Series. Gimmick: The Survivor Series elimination tag matches.
December: Armaggeddon. Gimmick: This can be the Extreme Rules PPV, only with a better name.

January: Royal Rumble February: No Way Out March/April: Wrestlemania April: Backlash May: Judgment Day June:Extreme Rules July: Night of Champions August: SummerSlam September: Unforgiven October: No Mercy/Cyber Sunday November: Survivor Series December: Armageddon
So honestly, my PPV schedule is very similar to the one currently used. I wouldn't give any WCW-type names to my show, since this isn't WCW. I also wouldn't want Wrestlemania to always be in March, as the first Sunday in April is fine as it gives extra time to build to Wrestlemania.
I also have no problem with 2 PPV's in October, as that is usually a down time in WWE after SummerSlam and before Survivor Series. Cyber Sunday does it's job as a gimmick PPV with any possible outcome. No Mercy is a staple as well.
So all in all, I would just get rid of the Bash/Great American Bash. It's 2 weeks away, and I still feel like we just had Judgment Day, let alone Extreme Rules.

I've been promoting the idea of using the Starrcade name for the Decemeber PPV as well. If you promote and make it seem important it right it would pop a bigger buyrate than your typical PPV by it's name alone. I guess it just makes too much sense.
Anyway, I would go with:
January - Royal Rumble February - No Way Out (I would only book one elimination chamber match, to decide either the RAW/SmackDown #1 contender for WrestleMania) March - WrestleMania April - Backlash May - No Mercy (I'm just changing shit up) June - King of the Ring July - Bash at the Beach August - SummerSlam September - Unforgiven October - Judgment Day November - Survior Series December - Starrcade

January: New Years Revolution Reason: Elimination Chambers, Great way to start the Year
Royal Rumble Reason: It's the Royal Rumble
Febuary: SuperBrawl Reason: Just a good old fashioned wrestling PPV, for WM build. Maybe have one or 2 Stip matches, but thats about it
March: Nothing WM Build Up
April: Wrestlemania Reason: It's Wrestlemania
Barely Legal Reason: Awesome Title, Could replace Backlash
May: Judgment Day Reson: I hate to say it, but just cause it's JD. To me, JD is the may PPV, and I wouldn't have it any other way
June: King of the Ring Reason: I want to see it return, but have it return to starting out with the Quarter Finals if possible.
July: Fully Loaded Reason: Mix Extreme Rules and NoC and this is what you get (Also add #1 contender matches if you want)
August: Summerslam Reason: It's Summerslam
September: Anarchy Rulz Reason: Replaces Unforgiven title, still has Championship Scrambles, but this PPV would have the feel of what Unforgiven should be, which is dark.....not as dark as the next one though
October: Halloween Havoc Reason: Replace No Mercy for One. I would say have this be the "Spin The Wheel, Make A Deal" PPV which would be awesome if it were to return. Not Raw Roulette style though, like actually have the wrestlers fight in matches determined on the spot right there with the wheel spinning live instead of pre-taped. Have an element of surprise
November: Survivor Series Reason: It's Survivor Series. Though return it to all SS matches on the card, mix it in with battlebowl/wildcard (basically mix and match partners). Then at the end either do what they had in 90 (which was the final SS match) or have a battle royal to determine who gets either control of the company for the rest of the year OR the next title shot
December: Armageddon Reason: 2 Words....War Games
and thats my dream PPV scedule

Ideally, I'd go back to the system of four HUGE pay-per-view events a year with enough buildup that each one felt like a Super Bowl. I know that this isn't economically feasible and that 12 a year are pretty much necessary, though. I'd keep the WWE's major events and bring back events from WCW and ECW. I never got why this hasn't happened yet. For instance, Armageddon isn't too intersting, but Starrcade has a rich history and a "can't-miss" feel. There's no reason that PPVs shouldn't feel like something special instead of another episode of Raw that costs 30 or 40 bucks.
Also, I'd skip the PPV in the month leading up to Wrestlemania and let things simmer. It's important that Wrestlemania has to seem like a bigger deal than the others. Instead, have a Clash of the Champions supershow on free TV to build it up even more.
I think I'd keep Night of Champions just because it's such a great concept.
January - Royal Rumble February - SuperBrawl March - (No PPV; Clash of the Champions) April - Wrestlemania May - Hardcore Heaven June - Night of Champions July - Great American Bash August - Summerslam September - Fall Brawl October - Anarchy Rulz November - Survivor Series December - Starrcade

Jan - Rumble Feb - No Way Out* March/1st week of April - Wrestlemania April - Backlash* May - Judgement Day* June - King of the Ring July - The Great American Bash* August - Summerslam September - Unforgiven* October - No Mercy* November - Survivor Series December - Armageddon*
* = PPV's would have a super great price of $24.99, unmarked would be $34.99... or whatever the regular PPV price is.

January: Royal Rumble February: March: April: Wrestlemania May: June: July: Summerslam August: September: October: Survivor Series November: December:
That's all I'd have. Make PPVs worth something again, allow feuds time to build properly, don't let the protagonists in the storylines near each other until the night of the PPV instead of having them standing across a ring from each other week in and week out.
