With all the happenings of the past year with Jericho, Does anybody see him back on the face side between now untill he retires??? Ive never seen someone gives the fans so much shit for this long i cannot see Y2J a face at all, I still find it hard to see Morrison team with R Truth, and the likes of cryme tyme after they feuded for the most of 2008. At the end of the day Wrestling is Wrestling but how can someone like morrison team with cryme tyme and act like nothing had happend between them, Where is the logic WHO KNOWS...again at the end of the day Pro Wrestling is what it is....
Thoughts....

It's just the way pro wrestling is. It's not uncommon for wrestlers to team up even after they hit each other with weapons a while.

Only way Jericho ever goes face again is if he's gone for another long period of time, at least a year. Anything less than that, Jericho has been SUCH a heel for a while now I don't know if fans would welcome him back even then.

Jericho is hands down the best heel today, it would be extremely hard for them to turn him face at this point.
Though, Edge was the top heel not too long ago, and he seems to be SLOWLY turning (snail's pace) face. So if Edge can make it happen, then I'm sure we haven't seen the last of the Ayatollah of Rock n' Rolla.

I like heel Jericho. He's excellent at getting the audience to hate him. Face Jericho would be a waste of his true talent.

I hope not, his heel character is golden.

I hope not, his heel character is golden. 1000% agreed. He's too damn good at being a jerk for them to turn him back face again.

I hope not, his heel character is golden. Yeah at this point, I've welcome SRSJericho with open arms. Crazy how he can completely strip himself of every Y2J-related thing, the persona that he's so well known for and loved, become this angry articulate businessman with a dictionary for a brain, and STILL make it gold and effective. This is one of the many reasons why Chris Jericho is my favorite of all time. The man is a genius.

Then again you could use his face turn to make the new megaheel who calls Jericho a hypocritical axiomatic tapeworm.
I dunno, I think they could turn him back, but I wouldn't be into it, except for maybe a moment of marking out. "Y2J" is so passe.

I liked it when they were teasing a feud with Edge. He should go after heels more often. Hell I wish they would have more heels chasing heels. It looks weird if the only people after Orton are faces.

It's funny to me, but even using that nickname severely dates the character. You think he should get new theme music to go with this new personality, though?

Actually, to me it's the fact his finisher is called the Codebreaker that's awkward. It really has no relevance anymore. Y2J isn't used very much, but we hear "Codebreaker" in every match.

I'd have said so when they started his heel run but it's seemed to work fine in terms of not unconciously popping the crowd like, say, Matt Hardy's music. It helped that they got rid of the Countdown and went right to a pyro blast though.

It helped that they got rid of the Countdown and went right to a pyro blast though. Agreed. That was TOO much of a holdover from his face days. It's kind of odd that Orton's gone through a couple of themes now, as has Edge in the evolution of his character, but Jericho made such a dramatic turn, and still has the same tune as his theme. Then AGAIN, looking at it from a psychological standpoint, it kind of fits Jericho to have the same theme, since it's almost like the character telling us HE is not the one that needs to change, but we the fans are, or something like that.

Sometimes people are faces and than get into a tag match and we find out they had no friends. I think Booker T had to get Josh Matthews to fight with him in a match against JBL and OJ because of that fact.

SRS Jericho could easily be played AS A FACE, without a face turn. He is, to a degree, honest. He doesn't cheat (much), and he's portrayed as being on par with John Cena (Superman/Darkseid) in terms of "wrestling ability."
Also, his moral judgments, though flawed, should theoretically (and has been shown to) include people like Edge, Orton, and the more outwardly villainous of the heels. I think he could easily be an unlikeable (but good to root for) tweener, and I already sort of think of him this way.

It really annoys me that Todd Grisham stills refers to him as Y2J. Jericho renounced that name in a promo on Raw around the time of his turn. He's not Y2J anymore. I'd have thought he would pull Grisham up about that.

All Jericho has to do is turn his anger/insults towards a heel- Edge, Orton, even Big Show- and he is witty, funny, and charismatic enough for the fans to instantly forgive him and cheer for him again.
