I guess good point. When did he lose the belt, and do that EMBARRASSING thing with the Sting facepaint? He won it November 06 via DQ, got destroyed by Sting at every turn, lost the belt in January of 07, then kinda did some stuff with face paint and...um, there was that whoel Judas Masias deal that never really went anywhere and James Mitchell as his father, then nothing. So I'd say he's been irrellevant for at least two years now. He beat Sting and Cage clean on PPV in a Triple Threat. Turning Point 07. He didnt do anything with face paint. That was one 3 second shot, on one episode. He had 3 matches with Mesias, and beat him in the blow off at Barbed Wire Massacre.

I haven't seen the PPV yet, but MEM winning all the matches gives them enough heat. Sounds like standard booking to me. I assume they won via shenanigans?

Sting won via rollup after MEM distracted AJ. Nash won via low blow and rope leverage after Joe kicked out of 2 Jackknifes. Booker won relatively cleanly over Christian, but Christian is apparently leaving, so no harm done. Angle threw Abyss off of a scaffolding thru the Spanish announce table. So, AJ and Joe didnt lose cleanly by any stretch.

Putting heat on the heels (MEM) is absolutely fine. They should look invincible at the start just don't do it for too long.
The nash/joe ending was just booked a little weak. Nash should've hit him with brass knuckles.
I just hope this leads to the originals beating the Mafia clean in the ring, because I have my doubts of what they're going with, with this feud.
If they have the originals lose over and over again just for Jeff jarrett to save them, I'm going to puke.

Sting won via rollup after MEM distracted AJ. Don't make it sound THAT bad. The distraction prevented AJ from going for the supposed death blow, but he still had control of the match. He was only rolled up after missing The Pele'... Which actually shocked me; does he ever miss that move?

I still think they need a third group. MEM as the legends, taking everything they believe they're owed. Young Lions trying to prove that they are worthy of the spot. Then a group loosely under Jarrett, who are the ones who have no real allegiance, but will side with whichever they choose at any time. I thought they were going down this path with Christian, but since it seems not; split Morgan and Abyss, and turn into the unpredictable lone monster. They tried having him play the good samaritan when he returned, running out to save anyone getting a beatdown. That role could be even more appropriate with the current storyline.

Necessary evil, the important thing is that they make sure the young guns have that big comeback...that's where WCW went wrong with nWo, they played out the chase with the heels getting stronger and stronger that in the end they fell in love with that so much they forgot to give the faces much of a comeback.
