So yeah, Bubba and D-Von have been mentioning the Mafia quite a bit of late, simultaneously praising them for the whole "respect us, young punks!" stuff, but halfway calling them out for not inviting them into the group.
Anyone care to venture a guess what direction this goes in, including how this might affect Beer Money? Does either team end up getting involved in the turf war going on? Does a double turn happen? Will the US ever adopt the metric system (I think not)?
Let the projections and armchair booking begin.

I think they screwed up by not having the Dudley's in the original line-up. They need a tag-team and nobody is more qualified than the Dudley's.

I think it makes total sense to put 3d in the mafia. The main resoning behind them not going right now is that they are fueding with Beer Money(heals) and the Mafia are heals, so they have to stay face during their fued. Maybe during the payoff match the mafia helps them win the titles, then 3d joins. I see Beer Money staying heal throughout though.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least in the Dudleys join them, butwas already mentioned they have to finish their feud with Beer Money first.

The metric system's not that much fun tbh. Only when you realise you can multiply the size of anything in inches by 2 1/2, does it get interesting.
Oh, and as for the other thing; Beer Money to turn face, join the lions, 3D to be tweeners ala Christian. Possibly in a hired-gun role. Team 3D: We'll put anyone through a table for a buck.

It definitely makes sense for 3D to eventually join the Mafia, but, again, the way they've been talking to them (somewhat confrontational), it makes it seem like they won't. I dunno.
As for Beer Money, both men have had all their success as heels, but, then again, they ARE popular, so a face turn wouldn't be totally weird, either.
I predict that, for whatever reason, neither team ends up joining a side, at least not officially. Wouldn't shock me if one of them ends up working with the MEM sometimes, but not full time.

Yeah, I'd like a double turn to happen. Beer Money are practically faces by default now with all the beer gags and props they bring out each week and their catchy phrase. Team 3D are essentially thugs (that's their gimmick, pretty much) and would work well as the bouncer-types for the MEM. They wouldn't wear suits like the others, they'd just rough people up when called upon.

Will the US ever adopt the metric system (I think not)? We tried in the 70s. It was epic fail, because it's ridiculous to change everything we know cause everybody knows something different. We don't need no stinkin kilometers!

I'm hopping they don't.
MEM is currently far greater than their opposition, and adding another two world champs (guys who did almost the same feud earlier in the year), won't make it any more believable if and when the other guys win.
I can see MEM saying "we don't want you, you've never been world heavyweight champs" or something like that, leading to 3D tossing their lot in with the MEM's opposition.

What i think this will lead to is they interrupt a MEM promo and ask them to their faces how they could leave them out of the group. The MEM will then accept them into the group and after the handshakes and hugs beat the living hell out of them while Sting watches on.
Tenay will say "This is the Main Event Mafia's world and we are ALL living under theirr rulless!"

I could see Team 3D almost being the henchmen of the group, doing all their dirty work whilst the other five sit back and relax
Another idea is that the other members of the MAM hire people into the group without asking for Sting's approval. This eventually gets him mad, and he turns on the group.

I see something like this going down.
3-D keep mentioning the MEM. 3-D gets a title shot at Beer Money Inc. from here you can two directions
Direction One: the MEM interfere in the match, Team 3-D gets the belts, and are officaly in the MEM. This makes Beer Money Inc, faces and brings them into the "young lion" camp.
Direction two: during the title match with team 3-d Beer money Inc. the MEM members come out and help Beer money Inc. retain thier titles. This makes 3-d faces and Beer money Inc. heels and would lead Beer Money Inc, to becoming members of the MEM.
However ther is a slight tweak you can do with this situation. run the same situation where MEM helps Beer Money Inc. retain the title. However when they are asked to join MEM, they ask how much more money will they make as members of the MEM. Angle replies, This is about more than just money. Beer Money Inc. reacts to them by saying we care about money and beer and nothing else, and that includes you so called legends. thus leading to a MEM/ Beer Money Inc. feud.
