Throughout time, there have been moments which have defined our culture. And rarely, there are moments that are so indelibly etched into the fabric of our planet's shared history, that future generations shall always look back on them with a sense of awe and wonderment.
The Paparazzi Productions segments, with Alex Shelley and Kevin Nash, are among those moments.
Allow me to humbly begin a thread which will undoubtedly be the most viewed thread in the history of Wrestlecrap... nay, of Internet message boards, and quite possibly in the history of message boards in the physical plane of existence as well. This thread should be stickied and made into an announcement, though I'm sure political powers will try to block such a feat.
Feel free to use this thread to discuss all things Paparazzi, your favorite segments, where you were when you heard that Alex Shelley won the PCS, how devastated you were when Nash injured his neck performing a 840° somersault splash on Tito Ortiz, etc.
With that said, I bring to you my favorite of their collaborations, the press conference announcing the Kevin Nash Open Invitational X Division Gauntlet Battle Royal for Bound for Glory.

Ah, Paparazzi Productions.
T'was a simpler time. Much less of TNA's usual insanities. Simple comedy purely for the sake of comedy.
I miss that so. I also wonder why Kevin Nash's alliance with the Motor City Machineguns never happened.

The best thing TNA has ever done since introducing the X Division. It was just epic. Normal Low Ki, Low Ki + beanie, THE Austin Starr, Alex Shelley, Jay Lethal, & Sonjay "Juice" Dutt were all tremendous.
My favorite had to be the Push Up Contest. I think the mEm/Frontline feud should be settled in a traditional Backlund Bob-Off!

I remember hearing murmurings about TNA possibly getting a second show awhile back, and the speculation was that it would be a show for the Knockouts.
I thought then, like I think now, that the 2nd show should've been an hour long Paparazzi show. Just ditch the wrestling completely and have Nash and Shelley in wacky situations. It's not too late, TNA!

I'll always be grateful to them for introducing me to Madagascan wrestling.
