Just wondering what you guys thought of my idea for a Batista heal turn.
Not entirely sure what way to debut it, but I think it would be best debuted either during an Orton vs. Trips match for the title or during an Orton promo.
Batista makes his return from injury, everyone is expecting him to get revenge on Orton but then sides with him instead.
He explains that his reasons are that Orton has put him out of action twice and has become a broken man because of it and has lost his fiery passion. He in turn feels humble towards Orton for defeating him so, and is willing to do his bidding.
Also (and I feel this is very important) he has grown a beard and let his hair grow out, partly to signify that he has 'stopped caring'.
A good way to work the fact that he is injury prone into a stroyline I think.
What are your thoughts?

I still think Batista IS a heel.

Maybe not make him so subservient, but more of a mercenary type.
He's gone up against Orton twice and both times he's come away injured, HHH has the title (Let's face it he could come back at any time and this could be true) and he's going to use his influence and name to control the upper card and do everything he needs thru manipulation.
He sees (rightly so) that Orton is the real future. Unfortunately with lackluster lackeys like Rhodes and DiBiase getting destroyed by Trips every week and Orton himself being made a fool of, Batista is the perfect bodyguard. He's big enough to be considered "Dumb Muscle" but smart enough to be a proactive team member and solve problems sooner rather than later

'Beard vs. Beard' match for the main event at Wrestlemainia 26 anyone?

If he doesn't care then he shouldn't be wrestling and people would point that out.

Anyhoo, I'm not one to wish destitution and/or joblessness on anyone, but it seems like Batista might want to hang it up before WWE decides for him. He came back...wrestled for a month then was out AGAIN for an injury
