Since there are already topics about when Nigel drops the title and whatnot, a poll would be great.
I gotta go with Dragon, which I feel will be a common theme. Great matches just about every show. Punk's was great, too, storyline wise.

Nigel. I enjoyed Punk's but it didn't have alot of time to get off the ground.

Dragon's. His was just as long as Nigel's, and never left me frustrated or bored once.
Punk's just in second.

Joe's was amazing, and built ROH into what it is today...
But Dragon's was just perfect, the perfect title reign.

Nigel's reign is my favorite with Danielson/Joe tied for second.

Dragon then Punk.
Nigel just really hasn't done much with his reign. Even with Morishima every title defense of his has meant something. And another thing: With every champion post-Joe it's felt like the title was ALWAYS in jeporday. Like it could be taken at any time. Aries always was thiiiiiiiiiiis close to losing before eeking it out. Punk always was able to weasel his way to a victory. Danielson (especially the last year of it) always seemed like it could have been any of his challengers that took it. Morishima (after the first few) it seemed like he was just barely hanging on. Nigel...it's felt like with the way he's been booked that the fans KNOW there isn't going to be a title change at times. Which makes it boring, and Cena like.
Danielson's reign was great because there was always a level of excitement because you never knew (except when it got into the home stretch with Homicide's "destiny") when he was going to drop it because every single one of his challengers could have beat him at any time. Nigel just doesn't have that going for him, at all.

Exactly. The Milestone Series alone had 3 challengers who all looked like they were going to take the title at one point(Roderick, Delirious, Cabana; although once the match started, we all saw otherwise).

This is how I'd rank the title reigns.
1. Samoa Joe 2. Nigel McGuinness 3. Bryan Danielson 4. CM Punk 5. Austin Aries 6. Takeshi Morishima 7. Xavier 8. James Gibson 9. Homicide 10. Low Ki
