I just think of the stable of Shane Douglas which was Triple Threat as a rip off of Four Horsemen. What do you people think?

Only difference being Shane Douglas used to do some shoot promos on Flair and badmouth the big two everytime he was on mic.

It was kind of a Horsemen ripoff because Douglas hated Flair, but the original Triple Threat was badass with Douglas, Benoit, and Malenko. Benoit and Malenko were so awesome in the ring, and they just beat the shit out of everybody.
The next version of Douglas,Candido, and Lee kind of sucked. Candido was always entertaining, but the 3 really do anything of interest.
Then you had Douglas,Candido, and Bam Bam which was ok, but the highlights were Taz and Bam Bam beating each other up (Inluding them going through the ring in one match, and then going through the entrance ramp at Heatwave), and then Taz taking the ECW title from Douglas.

Did Douglas state in any of his promos that the Triple Threat was his answer to The Four Horsemen? Just curious to know
