Hasim Rahman, that is. A shame that a fifty year-old Evander Holyfield is the only hope for an American to capture a heavyweight boxing championship anytime soon.

Amazing to think that these are 1) the guy who beat Lennox Lewis for his Undisputed Title comfortably before losing it back and 2) the guy who took LL to a hard fought draw. Bit sad really.

Amazing to think that these are 1) the guy who beat Lennox Lewis for his Undisputed Title comfortably before losing it back and 2) the guy who took LL to a hard fought draw. Bit sad really. 1) Rahman was the luckiest heavyweight ever that night vs. Lewis, more lucky than Mike Weaver vs. John Tate, IMO. 2) Actually, Vitiali, not his brother Wladimir who fought tonight, was the guy who took Lewis into the later rounds, and was winning the fight but lost via a TKO on a cut. Regardless, I agree with you the whole scene is sad.
