Hello and welcome to the first ever edition of Krissy’s Catwalk with your’s truly Krissy Vaine. WWE will now be sending me a “cease and assist” letter…. ok, ok,ok so I’ll just say “Kristin’s Catwalk” with the artist formerly known as Krissy Vaine-can I get in trouble for that? Oh well let’s try it and see!
So here we go… This is going to be a weekly column on the women of wrestling… My opinions along with some fact, some fiction and alot of fun. Every time I say something bad about someone I can immediatly repent by saying “Bless their Heart”. This is my right as a southern woman!!!
So lets start with the ladies of WWE my former foes and allies alike. My favorite Diva’s to watch on television right now are the Bella Twins and Maryse. They are wonderfully easy on the eyes and have the ability to captivate me to watch them… Maryse has amazing charisma and fantastic facials. I hope she continues to develop and becomes the best of what WWE has to offer. The Bella’s are fresh faced and almost perfect looking and the tag team arsenal they are building is becoming quite vast. I also really like how they twirl when they are entering the arena… it is sooo cute and really original!!! They are really smooth for the most part and in my opinion have that “it factor”… plus they are gorgeous(did I mention that already?) I really appreciate a beautiful woman!
I was flipping thru the channels last night and had the pleasure of catching Alicia Foxx’s first match on ECW… I think she and Steve Lewington make a great team and have fantastic chemistry, plus she is just so darn adorable! Her moves came off as athletic and she appeared to be a viable contender against Katie Lea. I gave them an A+ for this match. I was really impressed. Both of the girls looked great and performed well.
Now for the “Bless their Hearts” of the week. Let’s just say “Thank you Jesus, praise the Lord” for Michelle McCool turning heel. Trying to watch this girl and like her as a “good girl” was quite the task. Not only for me, but for all the dirt sheet subscribers and fan’s alike. Just youtube when Maryse won the belt. Read the comments… “Bless Her Heart” is all this polite southern belle can say about that. Let that ugly from the inside seep out and “lash out” insert recent blogs here—>
As far as the Raw girls go, Im glad to see Melina back. She adds an interesting dynamic to the show and has the best entrance in pro wrestling hands down. She and Mickie James are a joy to watch and really show that they are both ring veterans. Some of the other girls should take notes. Find a way to stand out and be different like these two. Glamerella is also a great example of being different. The Raw Girls get no “Bless their Hearts” this week. Stop being wallflowers tho some of you…. or your gonna get it.
Now lets get to the TNA Knockout’s. I like what they do for the most part. My favorite ones to watch… I guess I’d have to say “The Beautiful People” they remind me of a certain someone from my past( maybe-Krissy Vaine circa 2004) And again I looove pretty people! You will probably hear me say this a million times in this column. I do wish they would go PG though… Some of those camera angles. Yikes! I understand that is their shtick but I’d like to see it cleaned up just a little bit. I also think that Christie Hemme has something really special about her. Though she is not the most seasoned wrestler she brings alot of tenacity to the table and I like that. She is interesting to watch and very entertaining.
Where the heck has Karen Angle been? I miss her! She brings something very womanly to TNA, they need that.
As far as what I’d like to see in 2009....
#1–Myself as a Knockout( for those of you who don’t know Im returning to the ring:)
#2– Taylor Wilde to step out of the box— connect with audience more- Shes got it she just has to dig deep to relate.
#3– The Knockouts to stay on top as far as ratings go (this is awesome btw)
#4– Some of the Knockout’s to put more effort into what they wear on Television- there is no need to look unkempt when you are on TV weekly- no excuse! Sometimes you have to spend a little money girls, to make a little money.
You guys get the “Bless their Heart” this week!!! No more Rave clothing on TV!
So thats all for the 1st ever edition of Krissy’s Catwalk. Until next remember that “Pretty is as Pretty Does” And if your not being pretty than Krissy’s gonna “Bless Your Heart”!
