If you've ever been an at event where you were close enough to the entrance ramp or the ring, and some of the wrestlers were high-fiving the crowd on their way to or from it before or after a match, have you ever been on the receiving end of one of them? If so, how many times, and who?
Personally, I've had two such occasions, and they've actually both been at Japanese shows I've been to. First, at a Dragon Gate show this past October, I got one from their heavyweight champion, Shingo Takagi, after the main event. And about a month later, I was at a NOAH show, and got a five from Kensuke Sasaki, also after the main event.

Small independent shows are pretty accessible. If you ever get a chance to high five Roderick Strong on an entrance, you'll know that he means business.

Also, I do find it funny when really tall fans make really short workers jump up high to high five them. In the small confines of a small indy, it works.

I've high-fived Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, Kelly Kelly, and Howard Finkel. I've also pat Paul London and MVP on the back after their matches.
When I went to a ECW house show back in 2006, Sabu high-fived the guy next to me. It was pretty funny since Sabu ignored everyone except this guy and had a goofy grin on his face after he did it.

Old jokes never die. Like playing the 2004-2006 Roderick Strong Tag Team Match Drinking Game, where everyone takes a shot whenever Strong is on the apron and says, "C'mon Austin."

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

I can't remember everyone I've high-fived or back-patted, but I did get a thumbs-up from Bobby Dempsey at ROH Driven '08.

Let's see, patted Stevie Richards on the back as he hugged Godz (I still hate you for that , high-fived Tazz (he has very soft hands, he must moisturize a lot), Jimmy Wang Yang and Rey Misterio. I could've high fived Batista but I didn't wanna touch him.

When working face (so, only in IPW:UK) The Kartel literally climb into the crowd to touch fists with everyone.
I take personal responsibility for the heel turn of lame IPW:UK flippy skinny kicky guy Paul Robinson - he was a smiley face, but the crowd were gradually getting sick of him - he used to run like a nut around the ring pre-bout, but one time, to the laughs and boos of the crowd, he fell on his ass - as he got up, he went to hi-five me, but I did the old "run my fingers through my hair hi-five blowoff" - he was pissed, flipped my whole section off, and the next show started a "RESPECT ME! CHEER ME!" gimmick.

WWF must've been really hard up for the money spent to make those glasses if they kept taking them back. OR, as noted many times on this website, event security can be extremely clueless.

This was mid 94, and they curtained off half of the arena. bret/owen and diesel w/ shawn vs razor were the two best ones obviously, before the show, bart gunn was on the program, but the ring announcer said he wasn't there, so we threw our hands up and said "NOT BART GUNN!" jokingly. This was also during the "guest ring announcer from the audience!" period.

I could've high fived Batista but I didn't wanna touch him. Don't worry Kelly, I don't blame you. NO ONE wants to touch Batista.
