What if the ultimate warrior either came in or turned heel in the wwf? Do you think he'd be an effective heel or would it be like demolition/undertaker/rock where the fans cheer him anyway despite being "the bad guy"?

Heel Warrior would be a failure just like face Rick Rude and face Mr. Perfect were/would. Fans woulda cheered him anyway.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the idea of a heel Warrior had been thrown around but he didn't want to do it.

One sure way to turn Warrior heel is to have him be himself. Jim Helwig is a great heel.

When Hogan and Warrior won the grand finale match of survival at SS 1990 that was the perfect oppertunity for him to turn heel all he had to do was clothline Hogan during the celebration and boom

One sure way to turn Warrior heel is to have him be himself. Jim Helwig is a great heel. Point taken. I thought he looked like a heel chomping on a cigar in one of his appearances. You can't smoke a cigar without looking evil. |

Actually, Rick Rude was over as a face in ECW and I'm sure he would be in WWF/WCW if done right(I did a fantasy booking on that). Mr. Perfect as over as a face if I recall. I can't think of a way to have Warrior as a convincing heel. He can say his Gods told him to turn against the good guys and go evil I suppose. |

The only why that I can think of Warrior successfully going over as a heel is to have him come out in conservative attire, stop wearing the face paint, and tell the fans that he's done with his typical crazy man schitck. |

If it happened in say, 1991 and he turned on Hogan, I think he would have gotten some decent heat. I would have liked to see Warrior as a heel. I think he would have been great as the unstoppable monster heel. |

Sorry, no, but it's in one of the last Botchamanias. Only way I could of seen it working if he had been the Third Man, and even then I think Hogan would of been a better option. |
