I prefer Danielson and believe that he and Bret would have a phenomenal technical match, but I think that McGuiness and Bret would be one hell of a contest... I imagined it'd be incredibly exciting; rough neck brawler vs. the technical wizard.
Would be freaking amazing.

When Nigel was Pure Champ, he'd often get heat by trying to tell the crowd "Because I am the best there is! The best there was! And..."
He'd always get cut off because the crowd would boo him so vociferously.
It was a dream of mine that he'd go "The best there is, the best there was, and the best there-" before getting cut off by Bret's opening guitar screech. Obviously it was never in the cards, but try to imagine a venue full of ROHbots completely reverting into a bunch of 8-12 year old marks with the simple screeching of a guitar.
